How is a 23' boat 2X a 20' boat?

Loose the fancy schmancy text too while you're at it. :bat:

macojoe 06-18-2008 01:48 AM

Your right CB, its 10 x the boat!!

phester 06-18-2008 05:49 AM

you dissin' the V20 MJ ? Remember, as moderator of this site you've got an image to project. [BTW, those #'s aren't half bad]

Pipe_Dream 06-18-2008 07:50 AM

Twice the boat . . . I hardly think so.

charlie_the_tuna 06-18-2008 08:31 AM

7/8ths the boat maybe.

possibly 15/16ths.

C YENSEN 06-18-2008 10:49 AM

CTT.....I just noticed the toy diver in green Jello LMFAO that is hilarious.:you:

Seacrets 06-18-2008 11:53 AM

How many miles did you go on 20 gallons? If you went 30 miles, that's 1.5 mpg. If you ask CB, he'll tell you his 4 stroke actually makes gas. Just stiring the pot. By the way, with your new font, shouldn't you be on some fancy schmancy yacht web site. Next, you'll be wearing a blue blazer and white cap, hanging out at "The Club".

Stillrunning 06-18-2008 02:48 PM

When his foot goes through the floor lets see if he still says its twice the boat!!! LOL

BuilderFL 06-18-2008 02:59 PM

Since when do we allow Sea Ox owners to brag about their boat in this WELLCRAFT V20 forum.:bat: Can they even be members?:head:

My vote is he can keep posting as long as he wears the white captains hat from now on and calls CB "Little Buddy".

macojoe 06-18-2008 05:39 PM

I am getting about 2 to 2 1/2 mpg and thats good by me!!

And I had my V for 9 years, it was a great boat, but I came in today at 27 kt's in 2 footers and still have a back and teeth to prove it!!

As for me posting here, lets just say when you own it you can do what ever you want!! :nut:

willy 06-18-2008 08:46 PM

Basically MJ just gave you all the sign YOUR NUMBER ONE WITH ME:nut:

A V20 runs rough in 2'?

The carvel flys across the tops of 2' at 40 knots+. Just got to close the eyes when the spray hits. Same at 3'.

randlemanboater 06-19-2008 06:21 AM

I think MJ's V rode a little rougher because of the bracket causing the boat to ride with the bow higher and thus the seas being taken further back where there is less deadrise........but thats just a theory.

My V-20 takes 2-3 foot seas as good or better than my old 25' Grady White.

macojoe 06-19-2008 06:39 PM

Hmmm.........................

Seacrets 06-19-2008 07:34 PM

Let's give credit where credit's due. MJ did lighten up the stern for the bracket install. He removed his bilge pumps.

tsubaki 06-22-2008 03:30 PM

WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO V-OX?
Thought that was the only admiral way to talk about the boat here.
It is expected for you to change your signature to that.

Blue_Runner 06-23-2008 12:25 PM

MJ that would be amazing if your boat will do a 100 mile round trip on 40 gallons. If so that would mean you and I get the same MPG!
Where can I get one of these V-Oxes?

Mine does a 100 miles on 20 gallons.
:butt:

Blue_Runner 06-23-2008 01:37 PM

Heck I can do 100 in about 10 gallons with mine.....on the trailer. :you:

CaptJJ 06-23-2008 04:52 PM

100 miles on 1 gallon of gas, a pair of oars, a blonde about this high with a flat beer table head, 2 cases of bud light and bottle of Patron. "Time is on my side" then.

You forgot toothless and mute!!

macojoe 06-23-2008 06:45 PM

At 2 mpg and 110 gal gas thats 220 miles on one tank!! But I am pretty sure I am doing a hair better at 2 1/2 mpg that means I should be getting close to 275 per tank!

Thats fine by me!!
