Just curious as to what is on the menu for you guys?

Going to N.C. to see some family and head to Aurura for the fossil dig festival.

OH yeah and to bring back some Bar-B-Que. :love:

gonna finish up the boat so i can finally get her in the water.

I've gotta work over the weekend at least a little each day. I may end up in CY's neck o' the woods to see what may be walking the beach:hi:

Pissed off because it snuck up on me. Found out this morning it was this weekend. Just got the boat ready for another attempt after some changes.
Normally we avoid any contact with the water, especially in the boat on this holiday weekend. Much many idiots will be there, ya'll be careful for them.
Ought to just sit home, drink and roast mammal meat.

Getting together with brothers, their kids and my kids for our annual outing to the greatest spectacle in racing--the Indianapolis 500. Probably chillin and grillin on the Monday following. Oh yeah, probably recovering from a hangover that day too.

If you have never been to the Indianapolis 500 you owe it to yourself. It is truly an amazing event.

Too many idiots makes for a great day at the ramp, I am only a few blocks from mine and if I am not out I might just walk on down and watch the excitment!

And why is it that every jet skier in Miami thinks its good practice to rev thier SeaDoo while its on the trailer....???

i've often wondered, do the only sell jet skis to idiots, or do only idiots buy jet skis...

we will probaly get out amongst the crowd, but i might keep the boat in water overnight and avoid the ramp zoo.

Thinking the same thing, haven't given the cabin a shot yet so it might be time to break it in.

I don't boat week ends or holidays!! I am fish 90% of the time on Tue, Wed, Thur. a few Mondays and a few Fridays but thats it!

I have no plans for anything this year!! We use to go camping every year for like 12 years but I have something going on right now that has me side lined this year. I might even sell the camper soon?

The 26th is my 18th wedding aniversery........the wife's sister says she will keep the kids for the weekend and we can go off somewhere.....BUT......I am trying to figure a way to convince the wife to go to the coast with the kids for a little V-20 fun.

The one thing I won't do is answer the phone or pager.

i hate fishing on Memorial Day weekend. the traffic (boat) is nuts. :bat: I have Tuesday off so I will probably go then

I know the idiots will be out, but I'm going to be on the water, too. I spent most of last weekend doing yard work in hopes of NOT having to do any this weekend. My (tentative) plans include:

Washing down/cleaning up the Pipe Dream, first thing Saturday, so we can spend some quality time out cruising and anchoring the rest of the weekend,

taking the dogs for swims at the beach,

going for a morning or evening cruise in my old VW convertible,

eating big breakfasts every day,

recycling some beer, and grilling some beef and seafood,

and of course spending quality time with the missus.

We will also take time to observe the reason for the "holiday" weekend, the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. We owe them our thanks and remembrance, because without them we might not have the freedom to do all the things we all too often take for granted.

Blue Crabs
 

I hope to take Courtney and Blue to the sandbar for some crabbing. I plan on going early on Sunday in hopes everyone got to drunk the night before to put in until mid day. I want some hot, spicy boiled blue crabs and beer Sunday night! That's the plan anyway................:beer:

PD, The United States Navy will have have a Full Colour Guard on site at 0845 Monday morning to perform our annual Flag Ceremony here in our Community.

Think I may try a little drum fishing in the evenings after the crazies are done.

Well I have most likely been volunteered to be good boyfriend and have a cook-out this weekend. My girls sister's birthday is today and my girlfriends is next TUESDAY. So she decided she wanted to throw a birthday party this weekend before she realized it was MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND.

Ive gotta work 3-11 this weekend and still waiting for the pool co. to come put my new liner in my inground pool. Probably do a little grillin saturday or sunday.Iv got off work wednesday and thursday, got ta work on that honey do list a little.

Clambake on the beach Friday night, barbecue Sat. afternoon, another clambake Sat. night and a pigroast on Sunday. Unfortunately I am the cook for these events. Gotta tell ya theres no beach left. I stopped by a few beaches in Bridgehampton today and they are done. No way I'm bringing my truck on them even at dead lowtide.
