So CB woke me up just after 8 am Was raining like mad, so we went had something to eat, ride to the hardware store for some stuff, and went to are local Bait shop for some needed stuff.

By the time we did all that it was after Noon and the rain was slowing down, so we went for it, and I am glad we did!! The top went on very easy!! Everything just went he right way and in about 2 hours we were pretty much done.

So here is the results of are hard laborer!! Still have some cleaning up to do and mounting of antenna's and lights but its up there!!

Pretty trouble free. Nice and solid mounting. Should be good for years to come. just have a few more loose ends to tie together and you're done rigging.:beer:

How would that do on V20 cuddy!

Ive been looking for that top! Where did it come form and do you think it would work on mine?

Franco 05-09-2008 10:53 AM

MJ, looks great, you really lucky to hav a pal like CB there to help you. The only problem I have is a lack of fishing partners and someone to help me with boat projects! You are a lucky guy!

macojoe 05-09-2008 10:58 AM

The Top came from Atlantic Towers in NJ.

Franco I have no shortage of either!! After Bob left my friend Peter stepped in cause Bob had to go.

And they are lined up to go fishing with me. the problem I have is not a big enough boat for them all!!

Must be my good looks!!

C YENSEN 05-09-2008 12:03 PM

you must have missed my question.....

you getting curtains made for that thing?

macojoe 05-09-2008 12:21 PM

Yes curtains are on the list!! But I have another project that is going to be eating all my cash for now so it will be next season before that will happen.
But it will happen for sure!!

bigshrimpin 05-09-2008 05:18 PM

Yo . . . Looks very nice. I'm a little worried about there not being any mounts to brace it to the side of the cabin. It's almost time for fluke season . . . Excellent fishing on "them-there" mashnee flats in the early season. Easy 100 lbs, but you have to have live bait.

macojoe 05-09-2008 05:27 PM

No worries!! The way they make them is it is wider then need to be My console 57" the top 66" after you mount the feet, you have to pull it in and line up its about 3" or so to big, this is what give it strength.
Its solid!!

I will add stuff as I go along at this point, its time to get in the water!! I will be ready for Fluke no worry!! Just get your butt back here!!
