If you pansies would use your boats more it wouldn't be an issue:nut:

:sad: that was not very nice of you to say :butt:

Blue_Runner 04-10-2008 06:07 AM

Ok dangit! Uh oh, wait, nothing is biting yet. Gas is too expensive for a fishing trip. I want to go catching! Give me 2 - 3 weeks, ok?

I pulled my boat out of the water for 4 months, and started the Yami every couple of weeks on flush mode. Anyways, I had to remove the carbs, and replace the fuel pumps, because of all the crap that formed inside those parts. Both fuel filter / fuel separators were full to the top with water. It`s hard to believe how much work it caused. Next time I will be more carefull, like running the engine of a small ext tank with fresh fuel, and emptying the main tank fully before storing.

I personally believe in filling em to the top myself. If there full of gas, then water cannot condensate inside the tank.

Ferm......

that is how I do it:beer:

Blue_Runner 04-10-2008 12:14 PM

I agree - full is better than empty due to condensation and rust/corrosion....

I put Sta-bil in my 5 gal gas can at home when I fill it up so that my lawn mower always has it in there, just in case we have another drought.

BR, I don't think we are going to have many idle lawnmowers this year around here, my yard needs it again and I just cut it 5 days ago.

Blue_Runner 04-11-2008 11:54 AM

Its growing fast no doubt. I just mowed mine yesterday. Right along now is when ya have to cut it twice a week.

jjjtronics 04-11-2008 03:12 PM

lay synthetic grass, or plant concrete or brick, that way you can spend that time and that gas on the V20 !!!

Jejeje...
