Lumber, what do you plan on doing about the hoses marring up the splashwell? On my 250 Sportsman the hydraulic steering hoses are exactly the same as yours in the pictures. Is there any reason why I cant turn the fittings toward the boot to keep the hoses from looping? The only other thing i could think of doing was zip typing them to the engines linkage bar.

The SeaStar directions specify the hoses be routed in that manner. The hoses will move side to side when you turn the wheel, they leave that loop so that there is some movement in the lines. If you routed them the other way, they would chafe where they through the splaskwell.
