I'd swear it was BR, but he has the bench seat in the back instead of chairs.

And what you can't see just outside of the picture is MJ hot dogging on one water ski, one handed waving at the camera. The camera person should have waited a split second longer.:you:

Thats pretty fast driving so close to shore! Never get away with that here!! we have no wake zones were there is open water!:cen:

Hey! Stop running with those scissors! :shut::butt: |
lol MJ that's a Lake not the Ocean, Shores line that bad boy, Plus that's a HUGH Lake. It's Lake Norman
|
If that's Lake Norman, maybe it is Gator Bait's V. He bought a sweet V21 that used to live on Lake Norman.
Definitely not the Blue Man. I don't think I've had my V there yet, but my old boat Ca$h Money and me shared some great times there. We even got lost together once! Not fun with no GPS, running low on gas with nightfall setting in. Every cove looks the same trying to find the ramp under those conditions. Oh man it was fun - NOT! |

If that's Lake Norman, that's where I tested a buddy's bass-boat ... 77 mph!!...tears in my ears ... and come to think of it, where I tested a V21 for Jeff one time ... nice lake:sun: |
I've fished Lake Norman. Very nice area.

Yes it is a very nice and "rich" lake. Rich as in rich people everywhere, they actually have referred to it as the dead sea for years because it is so vast yet the fish were pretty scarce. Many attribute it to the lack of sufficient shad and herring in the lake. I believe its only been a few years that herring were introduced and alot of folks preached gloom and doom because of this and that and how it was going to destroy the ecosystem.
But from what I understand the fish are more numerous and bigger than ever since then. NC State record smallmouth came from there.....and they didn't even stock smallmouth! Ok, had to edit, it wasn't a smallmouth, it was a spotted bass. Sorry. Me tupid. Quote:

When I was a kid my Uncle had a single wide on Lake Norman. Spent many fun days on that lake.

A single wide on Norman would runs around $600k these days.
