Signture pic's are fixed you shoukd be able to do it easy now!!

Been fighting that a whole day and thought it was just me.
Well still trying....

So far I can add the avatar and text to the signature but can't add the picture to the signature.
I'll keep trying.

Hey, the creepy all seeing eye is back.

We fixed it last night, it is:

The maximum size of your custom image is 500 by 160 pixels or 68.4 KB (whichever is smaller).

To add a pic to the signture you need to go to your CP>EDIT SIGNATURE>then under the reply window you will see SIGNATURE BOX PIC box with two boxes, one for a URL link, and one to upload from your computer.

Choce which one you want, add link or pic, and hit SAVE SIGNATURE and you wil be good to go.

LEAVE MY EYE ALONE!!

Hey TSUBAKI, don't feel bad. I had trouble getting it to work as well, and I'm semi computer literate.

When your on the signature page, you have to click the blue link that says "Insert Signature Picture" just to the right of the picture.

MJ, I agree. Being male there is something genetic against following instructions.
THEFERM, I can't get to a blue link or insert signature picture.
Must still be a resizeing problem on my part.

And dam if I know what retardation was going on with me the last few days and posting the signature. Got it now thank GOD.

Mj I tried it today and still nothing! Dam computer! HELP!!! Do i still have to use photobucket?

Are they for the avatar and signature or to post on the site?
Far be it me to give help, it took me three days to add the picture to my signature. I believe resizing to the correct size and then clicking the preview, then click insert signature picture (appears next to delete current image) and then save is how it finally worked for me.
If it's for saving from the camera card,to the computer, thru photobucket and then to the site, someone with more sence than me will have to help you.

I loaded the pics from the memory card to a new file on my computer. then loaded them from my file to the signature page. Then I got an error message. I wish this thing had some bolts and nuts, maybe I could handle it! lol!

Make a copy of the picture you want to use, sent the copy to your computers photo editor and resize by editing to the dimensions or kb size allowed for the signature then try to add to the signature.

Scroll all the way to the bottom and change Message Editor Interface type to "Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing."

Click "Save Changes"

The next time you respond to a thread or start a new thread, you should see the smiles table to the right of the message composition box. :D

Are you linking it from photobucket or uploading it from your computer??

Jason, I have upped the allowed file size of the signature images. I think that might have been causing the problem.

I can't get a picture in the signature either, the photo I was trying to use says its under the size limit and it shows to be my signature pic, but it doesn't show up when I post.

I am NOT computer savy.

You guys are killing me!! Its not that hard! Look at the pic's before this, all self exploratory, I think??

Ok one more way to do it, and if you can't send me your picture.

This is the manual way

go to your signture>> Then type in [SIGPIC] Put link to picture here, then put this [/SIGPIC then another bracket like above. I did not put so you can see it ]

You can't upload from your computer this way, only link from PB

I can get mine to come up in the bottom window, but will not appear in signature. I must be doing something wrong???
