Well here is my take on it (if you care lol)


Today's society has gotten WAY off course from what this country was founded on. We have gotten everything too easy. It has caused more and more people to rely on themselves and not the one above. This has bred a godless generation that thinks its all about ME ME ME and they have no room for a higher power in their lives. There is no way you will convince me that there are the same amount of psychos around today that there was 20, 30 and especially 50+ years ago. They have developed as a result of people getting more lax about everything as time has gone on. It has increased exponentially as each generation passes on. Why else do you think the jails and prisons are overflowing? Because what is OK now was NOT OK 50 years ago. People think they can get away with it or serve their little slap on the wrist sentences and move on. As someone who deals with teens EVERYDAY (youth facility) I can guarantee you that the "majority" of parents nowadays are doing NOTHING to change it. We are birthing and "raising" tomorrow's (and even today's) robbers, rapists and killers.


No one cares anymore until what we feel in this article that is so "horrible" in 100 years may be "OK".

Regarding your last statement - america is on a downhill spiral - think about it this way:

There have been many a great nation rise and fall before 1776...many of which lasted longer than 320 years. In other words, what goes up must come down. Of course, I don't know what will eventually bring the usa down, but its bound to happen sooner or later.

Persia, Greece, Egypt, Rome, and I bet the Native Americans never thought a boatfull of foreigners would lead to thier demise either.

It does suck whats acceptable these days. :(
