i finally remembered the camera.
unfortunately it wasnt a great fish day.
just came in from weakfishing.
dropped a nice one by the boat.
thats it.
but i took a couple shots of nothing in particular.

if you try to lift them out of the water their jaws rip off.
they have WEAK jaws.

That one's a 23' Gulfstream. Very nice boat with the wider beam.

seafarer, gulfstream, when you cant afford one, its all the same.

heading east, its about a 4 mile run to jones beach inlet.

heading west, its about a 4 mile run to east rockaway inlet.

jones'l getcha offshore alot faster but debs (east rockaway inlet) gets you to the inshore pieces a bunch faster. got quite a few rock and rubble piles between 2.5 and 8 miles out of debs.

I'm doing quite a bit better thanks. Yes. been fishing quite a bit lately. Mostly small Bass. A real dinkfest but I don't care. I just like to be in, on or around the water. Clears the head and good for the sole. Catching fish is a bonus. Tons of Bluefish right now. They're fun to catch even though many consider them a curse. I have a ball catching them. 8)

it was so buggy out, we didnt last an hour.

y'know, one day i hope to get some of those fender hangers.
just came back from her annual scrub down.
man was she a mess. took me two hours to wash her down.
still cant get the squid ink out but that hardtop sure does shine up nice. (actually it dont. the fiberglass needs a rubout and i should probably wax the aluminum to protect it.)
but it sure is nice to get under it in the baking sun.
