sohappy to have found this place. my dad has a wellcraft airslot 24 1978 i think. it has been setting for years and now we are starting the restore. we have pulled the old i/o out and are going with a johnson 200 o/b. i have read many posts here and so far they have been alot of help. thanks for being here. ;D

Welcome to the website Robdawg. I call these guys "the V-Veterans" and they do know their stuff. Along with all the knowledgable info they provide, they can make you laugh your butt off too. My computer screen usually gets spit up on at least once a day with some of the stuff I read on here! ;D *The other day I actually had coffee running out my nose!

Truly a great bunch of guys. As stated above by Rick, they do like pictures.

Welcome....You are doing the right thing by dumping the IO for an outboard and if you could get a 225 or 250 it would be even better. Where the engine was you can build a huge fish box/live well/storage area and have a real comfortable fishing boat that can take a pounding...Frank

Right after I got mine, I was in Galveston (sister-in-law in Houston) headed out to the beach and low & behold if there ain't a V-20 on a trailer goin' by me right in downtown 8) ... that woulda been '99 or '00 ;) ...
