Re: Need 6 feet of orig rub rail
Is this the same as the last thread I read. If not, I was just at West MArine the other day and they had all sorts of differnt types of rub rails. :-/ ???

Re: Need 6 feet of orig rub rail
I could not find any rub rail that matches exacty the OEM Alum Rub Rail for my 1982 Cuddy V. So I am throwing this out there again to see if anyone has 6 feet or so from a rebuild or a parts boat that I could purchase.
thx Billfish16 |

SAILFISH:
LAND AND SEA SELLS THAT RUB RAIL FROM TACO, (TACOMARINE.COM) I THINK MY COST IS AROUND $180.00/10 FEET SECTION, I HAVE TO LOOK FOR THE QUOTE, THEY QUOTED MY IN DECEMBER. LESTERUS |
Re: Need 6 feet of orig rub rail
I THINK I'M GONNA REPLACE MY RUBRAIL WITH A NEW FLEXIBLE RAIL THAT TACO CAME UP WITH, WITH STAINLESS INSERT.
WILL KEEP YOU POSTED. LET YOU HAVE MINE IF I DO IT. LESTERUS |
Re: Need 6 feet of orig rub rail
Couldn't you just replace it all with a rubber rail and rope insert? I think that would be a lot less expensive...
|
Re: Need 6 feet of orig rub rail
yeah i like the full rubber ones and are better on the boat if you hit a dock they flex back the aluminum won't they will just end up cracking your boat.

Re: Need 6 feet of orig rub rail
LOOK IN : TACOMARINE.COM/RUBRAIL AND TELL ME IF YOU SEE YOURS, I CAN GET YOU PRICE IN A 10 FT SECTION.
THERE IS ANOTHER POST IN RUB RAIL WHERE I POSTED THE COMPLTE LINK. LESTERUS |
