1985 repairs
There is something to be said for buying a new boat. I'm not gonna say it though.
I'm missing out on some fine georgia fishing while I finish this mother. This should keep ya busy for at least a minute hammer... http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...t/IMG_9121.jpg Bad wood ground out. http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...t/IMG_9653.jpg Rock solid new http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...IMG_9717-1.jpg New Tank - Sunshine Welding - it's good. http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...t/IMG_9652.jpg Tank installed- I know the wiring color codes are not correct, but I'm rewiring the entire boat how I want it. http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...t/IMG_9705.jpg http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...t/IMG_9709.jpg pulling new http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...t/_MG_9700.jpg I liked the Blue Sea System Battery switch and 120 amp automatic charging relay. Re: 1985 repairs
Nice work!
If you bought a new boat you still wouldnt be fishing, you would be working a second job to pay 4 it. |
Re: 1985 repairs

I love the new tank, what did it cost to get that thing fabricated? looks great ;D |

Re: 1985 repairs
WOW, thats alot of $$$$$$, I'll just go over to where Parishht keeps his V and grab his tank. He lives near by. *;D ;D ;D
CY, think he does have a bracket, that extra/other floor hatch looks look it came from an I/O. |
Re: 1985 repairs
Came stock with the bracket. Had 200 zuki but my 150 2 stroke yami is on it now.

Re: 1985 repairs
HAMMER, be carefull, I left some guard dogfish in the hold,
I hope they live till next year, I gave them 10 pounds of food. ;D ;D |
Re: 1985 repairs
This boat looks like it came with the Stainless Marine bracket from the factory. I see no signs of a patch or repair to add this bracket. Does anyone know if Wellcraft sold this setup or did all closed transoms come with a C drive?

Re: 1985 repairs
pretty sure they came with Sea-Drives :-/
|
Re: 1985 repairs
Yepper, must have been a sea drive.
|
Re: 1985 repairs
yeap was a sea drive boat
|
Re: 1985 repairs
Great job!! Nice Tank!!
Brackets were not wide spread back then, it has to be a seadrive conversion. |
Re: 1985 repairs
Definately a sea-drive conversion, you can see the round cut-out that was filled in the conversion if you look closely at the picture. Plus the factory bracket wasn't an option until 87 on the V-20.
