Re: a trailer for my v
My original Tandem axel trailer ('72ish) is available, and about 5 miles from Holiday. Not pretty but solid.
Actually it is pretty ugly and the looks were the main reason we bought a new trailer. $400 and it's yours. Will repack bearings for you as well. Might need tires, but you can get them at Walmart if desired. * We only used it one time 2 years ago to tow from Ft Lauderdale to New Port Richey, or about 300 miles. No problems. I think we might have replaced the tires then? See original 6 pix in photo gallery from link in sig. |
Re: a trailer for my v
Or, a great place on your way to buy new, is at the Nextrail factory in Ocala.
http://www.nextrailofamerica.com/index.htm#pricing Shows Cape Coral but only sales office there. All come from factory in Ocala and can be picked up directly from there. |
Re: a trailer for my v
Sorry, trailer is now sold.
Friday, pulled it out from behind garage to confirm condition. Saturday, a drive by saw it, asked if it was for sale, told him we might have a buyer already, then he gave us $800 cash on the spot. Seems this time of year, a lot of people are pulling their boats out of the marina's for the winter, as a trailer is cheaper rent. Good luck in your search. |

Re: a trailer for my v

this one for $400, It's a 1996 model for 19 to 21 ft boat had new brakes and load rating is 5200. http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a46...1/MVC-005S.jpg http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a46...1/MVC-003S.jpg http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a46...MVC-002S-1.jpg Bought this one for $800, It's a 2001 model for 20 to 22 ft boat had new brakes and load rating is 4950. http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a46...trailer001.jpg http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a46...trailer003.jpg http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a46...s/image026.jpg http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a46...s/image019.jpg Here they both are on the trailers sorry the centr one has been sold http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a46...MVC-001S-4.jpg http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a46...ft/MVC-16S.jpg http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a46...MVC-018S-8.jpg |
Re: a trailer for my v
Geez, must be great to live in discount trailer land.
You could make a killing shipping a few down here to sell. Here on West coast of Central Florida, a grand will usually get you a well used, at least 10 to 15 year old, good condition, single axle trailer, with no brakes. $1200+ for same in Tandem. Here is a $900 example: http://tampa.craigslist.org/boa/477681314.html And $1250 for 17'-19' single with brakes: http://tampa.craigslist.org/boa/476815828.html |
Re: a trailer for my v
maybe I will have to swing buy NC on my way home looking at the used trailers i found on Ebay and crags list I may just replace the bearing and seals buy a spare or two tire that is and cross my fingers I can do better on a used up here
|
Re: a trailer for my v
like i say call some marinas ask what they have in used trailers for your size boat see what knida deal you can get i call several about once a month to see what they have. and if nice like these cheap i buy then resale on ebay or craigslist for double or triple the money.

Re: a trailer for my v
I got to have a cuddly so i can have a p/potty for the admiral, will that 25ft be to big ? Thanks for looking
|
Re: a trailer for my v
na not to big i had a 27 ft trailer under my V when bought but bought the other for $400 and swapped to resale the larger one for $1800. but i didn't mean buy the Winners boat to keep buy it for the trailer theb swap trailers and resale the winners with your single axle trail. that way you should either break even or make money off the deal.
