Nope...used to break ice years ago w/ 1st boat...14' alum. semi-V up on Lake Cooley...bust the ice and then drive boat thru the pipe under the road... ;) ... a real treat for the uninitiated :o ...

You driving boat thru sewer pipe ;D That has got to be intresting riding thru a culvert pipe in a boat. I've done the ice thing a bunch of times, but when I checked last night, it was too thick for the V. Otherwise I'd be making my own fishing show this morning ;D

You can take the Bass Buggy TOO the pipe, but it won't go thru...will the BB go under the Hwy 292 bridge?...if so, pipe is past that... 8) ...

I have never tried to go under the bridge, don't know if Dad has. I'll ask him.

I am assuming that all the big bass are through the pipe cause all we ever catch are 1-2 pounders, not that I dont enjoy that.

Find the creek-channel just 50-100' from the bridge...hold your position good, even if ya gotta anchor...and drop some large live minnows to bottom and crank up 3 turns...

The guys that got out yesterday found easy limits of rock over 30#'s. I didn't feel like breaking ice at the ramp.

Yep, right now is good time for larger fish...and if he wants to go out w/ no minnows, tell him black Jig n' Pig combo...move SLOWLY on bottom around the drops into the channel... ;) ...



...also tell him use J & P combo at 1st signs of water warmin' up, especially around Rip-Rap around the bridge...
