Reel you did submit my grouper to the IGFA right ??? I have not heard back yet, maybe they don't score it green :-/ That toast with the Jack is for all you guys on here. I don't normally start drinking so early but it was a special occassion. And Reel, enjoyed it brother. Franco and Robin thanks. Franco we look like a good team for Sebastian Vice, come to think about it I saw a suspicious looking woman at Capt. Hirams dancing prevocatively in the sand. I may need to come down again to follow up on that investigation 8) |

I, as Grand Pubah of the Norton Snagger Fishing Team, and my Royal Grand Pubah Ministers, Reel and Willy, decided it was time to set some standards. This was just a hint of what we could do if a WHOLE BUNCH of us managed to pick a date and a place to meet up!!! Think about it fellas, this was one of the most fun "weekend" I ever had. About 25 of us could raise a little H E L L !

Cy, I'd love for you to show me around, but keep in mind, I have launched at West OC about, oh, maybe 1000 times. That was home port for me for 10 years or better, back when I fished everyday. Now, having said that, everything up there has changed. I know I'd run aground up there today.... ;D

You guys keep talking about it, besides having the oppurtunity to hang with the Puhbah and Reel the main reason we put together this trip is to spark a little interest in doing some get togethers.
We have all become kind of a loose brotherhood, from all walks of life. But as I have been seeing we all also have a lot in common. I sat down and broke bread with Franco for the first time two years ago, now I also hooked all three of us together for a trip and I will tell you it was like I have known these guys all my life. Even small two or three guy hook ups will bring memories that will last and good times. But if it had rained all four days we were together down there it would have still been a blast because we have a bond. As Martha would say "Its's a good thing" So push it a little and make it happen. You'll be glad you did. ;) |

MJ ya'll do get some awesome fluking up there compared to down here. I wanna do some of that deep water jigging. All we do is shallow water live bait.
If I had my singlewide fixed up on High Rock I'd invite you guys down to stay there, but its a dump right now. Need to drag it off, burn it and build a small house. |
