Randleman Lake

Have I mentioned that I have a new lake?

http://www.ptrwa.org/

They haven't built the boatramps yet, but it is mostly full.

The marina/ramp will be about 3/4 mile from the house. ;D

Randleman, NC. Isn't that in between Horneytown and Climax? ;D

Spent a lot of time in the Triad area a few years back for a former employer doing some field installation work. Mostly over in Colfax, but some of the other surrounding towns. Nice area. ;)

Re: Randleman Lake

Randleman writes all those tickets, and town builds a lake with all the ticket money, then name the Lake after him. :-*

Re: Randleman Lake

Must be a pretty big quota. Not only did they name the lake after him, they named the whole danged town after him. ;D

maybe his family is rich from speeding tickets so they named everything after themselves, so if that's the case why is he complaining about needing to sell his old boat for, he could just use it fo rhis dingy from his 400ft long yacht. ::) 8) ;D :D ;) :) ;)

Ok, ok, you have figured me out. I am really a billionaire posing as a poor guy in the hopes of befriending some of the common people.

An update on the lake.......

The lake is completely full, they have stocked it with what fish they needed to and have done fish surveys showing nice populations of bass, catfish, sunfish, and shad.

The boat ramps are done and the bouys are in place marking shoals and shallows.

BUT.......we are not allowed to use the lake until they build a bathroom!!!!!

I can't believe this crap.
