Dam what a night

Well just got in from having to rebuild the whole front end of the 99 Tahoe, I had installed some new 33's on my old 94 diesel tahoe so i thought hum i have this spare set of chrome Z71 wheels with 33's as well so i put them on my 99 Tahoe and took it out around the block to see if they would rub well the front pitman arm broke wow what fun got her home put on the lift found it broke so i ended up having to replace every thing in the whole front end all said and done i install the 33's back on took a test run handled great but took me 4 hrs after that little tire test guess i'm glad i tested cause it was due to break either way glad it broke close.

Here was the Tahoe when bought on the little tires to me

doesn't it always work that way, try to do something to improve your ride, and something breaks in the meantime. :-/

better yet it's at the frame shop being lined up and raised up 2" and leveled front to rear. I can't beat the price $40

No wonder SO has so much stuff, everthing he gets costs a fraction of what normal people have to pay.

I have 285/75/16 on my truck now, want to move to 305/75/16 Bridgestone AT's

I got a 2 inch raise by adding 3/4 ton springs to the rear and 1.5" front by cranking the T bars.

I really want to add a 3" body lift, but the wife has problems getting in now and she would never make it in after I did that!!

Wait maybe I am on to osomething :) She can't get in, I know have to take her any where! ;) ;D

Re: Dam what a night

let's say 33's fill the fenders up if you crank the front up you'll have to line the front end or it will wear tires. take it to a local frame shop tell them to level the truck they can crank it even and make the front end correct.
