it is a gott 105 qt cooler with the split lid. as far as i can tell, they don't make them anymore. i really like the split lid and the divider water bottles. plus it is a perfect fit in the splashwell. any e-bay gurus, i need your help

slinger, yea its only about 20 years old. i was an igloo man for years, then a friend talked me onto this gott and it has been awesome. i think i paid about $100 for it in 84 or 85. sometime in the late 80's rubbermaid bought out gott and they went downhill quick. Same thing black & decker did for McColluch chain saws.

tsubaki, thanks looks like i'll have to go coleman 100 qt.

I bought a walmart cooler 12o Q and has been great!! it has a door in a door, not a split top.

RAP Julia Mae's is now gone and this is the last year for presnell's. they are supposed to build condo's there in 08. i use this cooler when we scallop in the little boat and stuck that bumper sticker on there so if the motor broke i would have the phone # to call and get help. the kids thought it was "cool" so every time we got a new sticker, they had to decorate. better than my windows.

MJ, thanks for the link. i guess that is the one that took the place of the 105. i heard the way they compute the displacement of coolers it includes the lids. that it why a 48 and a 50 igloo have the same base, but a different lid. maybe the split lid gave it 3 more qts. i guess i am going to have to go with the 150 coleman. i really like the split lid.

lumber, i think igloo builds a good one now, but if you can find an gott before rubbermaid, you will be amazed at the difference. i have a few of the igloo extreme and they do a great job, i just don't like the drink holders in the lids. they hold water, get scummy & hard to clean and you have to move all the drinks to get in the cooler.
