Gonna Be Quiet
 

from me this week.

I had to fly to Los Angeles for a family emergency.

My younger son is having brain surgery on Monday,
he has what is called an AVM,
Arterial Venuous Malformation.

I will sign on as I can.

Thank you all for the sentiments.

An update,
he had the surgery finally yesterday,
the doctors thought they could get the problem with a less invasive method,
but when they got in, they saw more issues.
They had to do full blown surgery, going though the skull.
They are confident that they corrected all the issues
and he should be able to leave the hospital Saturday or Sunday.
I will be back for Monday, my wife will most likely be staying one more week to help with recovery.

Wow, that's tremendously good news. Must be the power of the V brethren at work . . . well, and a pretty good surgeon, too.

My son is now home and resting.
He should have a full recovery with no reoccurence.

I just found out today, if anyone watches "Six Feet Under"
the one character, son , had an AVM.

I am back in Pennsylvania.
My son is getting better every day.
He has a line of staples through his scalp about 8 inches long
and the doc's told us they had to cut out brain matter about the size of a marble.
The area was not important to vital functions,
but if they would have had to go an inch or two in any direction, there would have been issues.
My wife stayed in LA to take care of him
and I will be going back on Friday to fly her back.
She is scared to fly alone.

Again, thank you all for you rprayers and well wishes,
he is going to have a full recovery and there is no danger
of this coming back.
