LOL. *;D ;D ;D
Well, if you can go as far as Cape May, there is that cool little resturant on the canal there that has the best seafood around, and at great prices.

Me, Parrisht, C.Y. and Airslot could take the ferry over. I would say take the V's over, but dont think they have enough free dock space for us. ;D

Mulv also goes as far south as Wildwood, maybe he can go just a few more miles south and meet us there as well. ;D We should try and do it early summer, maybe June.
Already started on the second book. Guess I'm gonna half to add all you guys in as well. Title of teh second book is called "CHINA FEVER". Looking forward to the retirement egg and live near franco some day. LOL. *;D ;D ;D

Re: Hammers Diving Equipment Distress Sale and Par

I'm buying at least the first two rounds ;D

So where we going Cape May side or Lewes side?
Either way I'm in, we ought to find a spot where we can have some good food and hang afterwards.

Re: Hammers Diving Equipment Distress Sale and Par

Resturaunt in Cape May is called the Lobster House.
There is enough parking for all our V's, but it fills up fast.

Traffic is a nightmare if we drive there.

The only really bad traffic period on the Delaware side is the two weeks around July 4th.

Early June sounds good for me,
I will be down every weekend starting May 5th until July 16th,
then I have to go to Ca. for two weeks.

It is a shame Irish Eyes burned,
HAMMER I keep forgetting the name of the other restuarant and bar that is right next to IE
up by old hookers B & T.

That would be a good place, I go there for bloody mary breakfast sometimes.

I love the lobster house, one of my favorites. used to go there with the family when i was a youngin ;)

Re: Hammers Diving Equipment Distress Sale and Par

All right early June it is, are we (you ) bringing V's and going out to fish or are we doing a on the surf(beach) hang and drink and cast and eating and partying at night or some other combination there of.
I'm easy, if you are doing the V's towing and launching etc. Cape May is tough but nice. Though I know almost sqaut about fishing off a boat there. Only go there for family vacations and I fish off the surf. Never been very good on the surf there, especially later in the summer.
You guys call it I'm in. And let me know if we are bringing the CEO's

Re: Hammers Diving Equipment Distress Sale and Par

I'm in for Cape MAy, Wifey loves the Lobster house.
I'm in for some surf fishing, drinking and laying out on the beach. Unless the wife wants to do shopping with the other women or something. Might keep the V at home and crash at a relatives place who has a trailer in Cape May somewhere. I'm flexable.....and Lisa is even more FLEXABLE. *;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hey, I just remembered, I only live a few hours flight away...

I'd be there to represent the pro diving contingent though. Nothing like sizing up your fish tacos while they're still swimming.

Re: Hammers Diving Equipment Distress Sale and Par

Cape May is good for me.

My wife spent most of her chilhood there,
her family used to own a bar and houses there.
So when we were dating and in our early married years,
we always spent summer vacations in Cape May.

Sadly to say, the bar burned down in the 60's
and all the houses sold for peoples retirement funds.

Here is a picture from last year,
We took my son and his fiance to see the area and we met up
with my wifes cousin at the Lobster House.
This is one of the biggest lobsters I have ever seen, in person.
There were bigger ones in the tanks too.
Her cousin has a trailer right near Digbee beach.

I love Cape May, I spent a lot of my childhood there also. I used to stay at the MT.Vernon motel down at the end of the stip. And I know exactly where that above photo was taken parishht. I have been there.

If we decide to bring the V's I'll tow mine ;D

Have you guys ever heard of people looking for Delaware Diamonds on the Cape May beaches ?.
Searched the beach as well with the kids and brought a few home too. *;D

Shirt order is still on hold.

Can't tell you how many I have thrown away.

Non-beach days were take the kids to the point.

I have stood on top of the old gun turret in the lighthouse park.

Re: Hammers Diving Equipment Distress Sale and Par

By the way HAMMER, you can find D-Diamonds on Broadkill beach.

willy 03-30-2007 02:45 PM

Re: Hammers Diving Equipment Distress Sale and Par

We know them as Cape May Diamonds, picked them up for years at sunset beach.
My whole family would rent houses and rooms at the Jetty or Vernon among others and do a family week there every year.
This is the first year where it looks like it might fall apart for the whole family doing it. Don't know for sure. :-/

Well anyway I have been told by the CEO that the first two weekends of June are good with us, so anyone want to pick one and lets start planning
