Re: When the cuddy is too small....
WHAT KINDA NORTON SNAGGIN A--HOLE WOULD PART WITH A COOL TOP LIKE THAT?????
|
Re: When the cuddy is too small....
That hot Florida sun musta got to that poor guy's brain ;)
Still gotta find a large zipper head for that back window. One was missing when I got the top. Either it was already missing or it fell off somewhere along the lines. Shouldn't be too awefully hard to obtain, I wouldn't think? That top's gonna earn its keep come November when MJ sends those big stripers back down South to NC :P :P I'm so DARN ready to go fishing its pathetic! I'll be down in SC in two weeks fishing out of Little River. I will have the camera ready and even if I have to buy some fish at the supermarket - I WILL POST FISH PICS! |
Re: When the cuddy is too small....
I can seeya standing in front of the fish market wearing a baseball glove, then you can say you "caught them all "

Re: When the cuddy is too small....
looks good blue!

Re: When the cuddy is too small....
Your gonna love that set-up. I've got the same style(without the back panel). It's perfect for north Florida. Before I got it I would do trailer and boat projects in jan & feb, but after adding the enclosure, we use the boat year round.

Re: When the cuddy is too small....

Re: When the cuddy is too small....
BR...Man if you're gonna be down Little River way soon, run off about 7 miles to the General Sherman and hook you up some Kingfish... ;D...they're out there right now and will hit nearly anything trolled near the top...I'll post numbers for the GS if you need 'em, let me know... ;)...
I had full enclosure made for mine when I first set it up...some of the BEST $$ I spent on this boat...dead of winter, I zip 'er all up and light one up...a propane heater, that is...it's a flameless disc-lookin' dude that screws on a small tank...takes the CHILL outta winter fishin'...you gonna luv it!!... ;D...Franco done you good...have you checked w/ a top shop or auto upholstery shop...they might have one of those zipper-heads you're lookin' for... Franco...seafood store w/a baseball glove...hottamitey...LMAO!!!... ;D ;D... |
Re: When the cuddy is too small....
Thank you all!! I'm happy as a Junebug ;D
RAP I looked up the General Sherman yesterday online. Twill be one of my first stops ;) Was thinking of slow trolling live baits - maybe catch a few pinfish by the jetty to get started. Get started drifting while I use a sabiki to see if I can catch a better bait. So, whattaya think? Slow troll live or fast troll spoons/lipped plugs (or both?). RAP - any info on flounder holes in LR? I know Murrell's like the back of my hand but this will be my first time at LR. I'm ready to go! And YES, there will be fish pictures even if I catch them with a baseball glove on dry land LMAO!!! |
Re: When the cuddy is too small....
So sorry...I don't know what a "sthingys" is, but I meant to say SPOONS :P
|
Re: When the cuddy is too small....
OK OK OK I've had enough! Apparently this site doesn't allow me to say S-P-O-O-N-S?? It changes it to sthingys?? That is wierd? Can anybody shed some light? BS - what's up with that?

Re: When the cuddy is too small....
Hey, while we are on the subject of tops, how much should I pay for a top setup like Blue's. I had a price of $1200.00 for everything except the back curtain. Fabric was sunbrella. Does that $$ sound reasonable?
|
Re: When the cuddy is too small....
Sounds bout right...but go ahead w/the back curtain, cause you gonna want it later...
