Well its 1:40 am and i am off to the stores!!

Black Friday is here!!

The list is a,

Sony DVD-R Recorder for the computer $39 best buy

Kodack 5 meg Camera for the Daughter $129 best buy

1 gig SD Memory card for Camera $19.99 best buy

Netgear wireless router with a wireless card for the laptop $29.99 for both!! best buy

15" LCD TV for the camper $178 walmart

I am going to Best Buy now 2 am they open 5am

My wife and son are off to Walmart, they open at 5 am as well!
I hope I get it all!!

In all my years, and all my kids that I have had to shop for, I have never had the Nortons to go out shopping on this particular Friday

My 14 yr old daughter and her friend wanna go to the mall today...told her if she could find a way other than me, no problem...

MJ, you definately get the ''Brass Norton" trophy of the week... ;) ;D...hope you are home and got all the goodies by now...

MJ u da man! I did that one year not @ 2AM though, got there and the DVD burner was sold out. How could that be I'm was there so early. I'll never do it again. Bill Mc ;D

its 927 and just got up and am gouing to home depot for a ack for my fishing stuff
not walmart go to seaars they r better and the quality is better and the sales girls are prettier

Well we got to Best Buy at 2am 27* 20 to 30 mph wind http://syncboard.com/albums/album02/freezing_smile.jpg

We waited till 3:30 am, and then they let us into the mall to wait till 5am to get in Best Buy.

This is were things got crazy!! People were trying to cut the line!! Wel i just told them anyone that trys to cut me better be oerpared to get hit!! women , Man, Child I don't give a $hit! Your going down!! No one cut me!! ;D

I got the DVD+R Burner $39
Wireless router & wireless card for the laptop, Both for $29!!
Got 75 DVD+R + 25 CDRW Blank CD's for $2.99
Microsoft wireless optical mouse $9.95
1.0 Gig SD card for Digtal Camera $19.95

Wife and son went to Walmart and got the 15" LCD TV for $178 This is mine for the camper.

So got all we wanted except the 5 meg Camera at Best Buy for $129 They sold out before we got to them *:(

Was home at 6:30am all is great!!

Every year I say I won't do it again!! And every year I am there just like all the other fools!!

Yea I am a Rebate king!! I live for rebates!! I just filled out $210 worth of rebates today!!
And there will be more soon I am sure!

There are great deals out there if your willing to work for them, and when you are as poor as i am you work for them!

MJ, I think they oughtta feature you on "Survivor"...the highlight would be when some fool tries to cut in front of you just when there's one last thingie on the shelf you both want...end of show is fool bein' loaded into ambulance... ;D :D ;D :D ;D :D ;D

I'm sure there was more than one A** kickin doled out at the Walmarts around the country.

Somebody said MJ gets the brass norton award...I'm thinkin anybody that tries to break in line on black Friday gets my vote for the BNA!! You gotta have a set to even think about cutting THAT line!

Well thats ok cause the F*** Computer is DOA!!

I got the new rom and the 1 gig ram came today. I took the computer apart and replaced the cd rom (changed a 100 of them before!!)
Gotmthe ram (also have changed a ton of ram) Got the computer all mtoghter, and it doesn't work anymore!!!! >:(
Took the ram out put the old in and still doesn't work?? Took ther cd rom out and put all back the way it was and still nothing!!

when you turn it back on all it does is beep??

I looked up the beep on the net and it says it is memory when it gives 3 short beeps??

I have removed the new and reinstalled the old and still the same thing??

I am getting reay to throw it out the window!!

MJ, if you replaced hard drive, do you start off w/''blank slate'' and have to reload from scratch?... ???...

I replaced the Hard drive about a year or two ago. So that has nothing to do with it.

I have talked with a few people and they all think that the mother board **** the bed??

I have no idea why?? I have been having small problem with what I thought was Memory. when going from site to site the images would take a bit to shown up?? Sometimes in stages??

So I bought a 1 gig stick to max out the computer, this way I would not have to worry about it for a long time to come!!

I am ready to blow a gasket!

will it start in "safe mode" if not can you start it in "BIOS" (basic in out system)???
