Welcome Chitbob...I've been close to your neck of the woods off Mexico Beach and Cape San Blas in FL in some fairly rough stuff w/no probs...like me, what you wannna look out for is the high-roller sneakin' up behind you w/the low transom and floodin' the hull from the stern :o

http://www.wellcraftv20.com/gallery/...bum06&id=L

I'm in the process of makin' a splash-wall to go in front of the splash-well...not gonna look like this one, but will have simular design...you might wanna consider somethin' like this, assumin' yours is outboard... :)...

Another hazzard to watch out for around Dauphin I. is the ''wild Stinky Hooker''...known to lurk around those waters, catchin' anything that swims, he's one of the more ''creative'' members of this board...if spotted, approach w/caution... ;) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Be especially careful if you see a guy with a compound bow in one hand and a fishing pole in the other and all he is wearing is a G string If you see this keep him in sight and call the coast gaurd I've been trying to pin him down to a location for awhile now get him some in-voluntary help you know. ;D

Sweet ride! You don't see too many older CC's.

Re: Hi Everyone New Member

phatdaddy those are rod holders on the front it was that way when i got it i thought it looked dumb but very funtional extra rods go in there then it folds over and lays the rods on the hard top and has a swing over bracket that secures them down

Stinky hooker first off I think blue panties would match your shades better I mostly fish the rigs or DIXIE BAR for reds currently I am fishing out of a 17 pro-line cc deep v good boat went totally through it but got the v20 now and wife wont let me sell the pro-line cause she did most of the fiberglass work btw I live near citronelle
