The dates work fine for me and I live just down the road in Northeast NC. I also fish the Chesapeake Bay 1-2 times a week all summer so I have some flounder, drum cobia and spade fishing holes. Cherry Stone is also a very nice place. I have co workers that camp there frequently and I have plans to this summer.

I'm good just about any weekend. VA is good for me too. Already have plans for mothers day. Any non-holiday weekend is going to be less crowed wherever we end up.

I can't commit to anything as I'll be slammed at work in that time frame but, if it's around Cherrystone, I'll make an appearance at sometime during the event no matter when it is.

No real preferences...but summer would probably be the best. Virginia sounds good! I got good buddies that fish Chesapeake and they catch some really nice flounder each year. Last year, one of the guys got an 8lb slab citation! OOOOOoh yeah!

As a local boy all dates are good, but I vote for early June as well.

I was wondering if Macjoe is making all that fuss about everyone going to Cape Cod because he's worried about crossing the Mason Dixon Line! ;D

I would vote for shortly BEFORE or shortly AFTER Memorial weekend....probably be able to do either/or.....memorial weekend in itself I think would be a little tough on everyone

General consensus so far seems to be early June and we have two weekends that should work 2nd - 4th and 9th-11
Lets get some more preferences from others between those two weekends and pick one for sure..

Before memorial day is good, But early June is better.
But what ever date I'll do my damnest to be there.
It is about a 4-5 hour tow for me...

don't know on my end due to Railroad crap and trying to buy a 3rd house currently for g/f and i to move into together. want a bigger house here. i'll have to keep reading the railroad info :( :-[

can't say for sure if I'll be towing my boat down. Now that i've had it one full season i'll probably be in the throughs of changing a few things around, so as it is right now,I would say no boat...Hey Willy, if I get down to Jersey, could we carpool the rest of the way??? Just a thought...still need to talk to the TinMan to see whats up with him

When the final time and location are decided we should let Wellcraft (their corporate PR folks) know. We might be able to get them to pick up some expenses (ie. pig roast.) It's a great publicity event for them.

I volunteer to contact them when we have all the details.

That was one of the original ideas B93, it looks like since we have no objections the date will be
JUNE 2ND- 4TH CHEERYSTONE CAMPGROUND VA.

Also we have a couple of guys on this site that have connections with Wellcraft, I'm hoping who ever it was reminds me because I forgot. Definetly want to hook up with them.

Also Franco did you ever get that T-shirt design finished, I have someone here I can go to to get some made up unless someone else can do it from this site like before.

Looks like we have around 15-20 guys coming so its a good start, MJ I'm talking about guys from both posts not everyone is doing it here, just did a rough count last night going thru the posts.
