Cy, thanks man. *It was a great day, a little chilly but the enclosure did its job! Oh and BTW, your boat is lookin great. I know you are a proud papa ;) All of that hard work paid off.

Grreat Pics, that top and front curtain looks like it does the job.

That v20 needs a name, they've got a little ceremony to name a boat. Be a good memory for the little one's..

Zebra, I haven't had a ceremony yet or put any lettering on but I'm gonna stick with Blue Runner. That way if anybody hears "vessel Blue Runner" on the VHF, there's at least a chance its me! But I'm sure there are a few other Blue Runners out there.

I would do some undercover recon. Hire a PI to get pics and DNA samples. Start with the UPS guy and mailman.....also, do you have any brothers or cousins that hang around more than they should??

Another good tip is to check with your daughter...they will sing like pigeons. Start with "honey, has the UPS guy ever been in daddy's bedroom..?" Oh really!!! "How long did he stay there?" *::)




One last area of concern...has Stink (or anyone else) done a "right click save pic as" of the wife?? And furthermore, what are they doing with the pic now? :o

The top - well, there's this crazy mf down in Florida, I think his name is Frank or Franco or Poobah or Reel Crabby or something like that ;) He was nice enought to sell me this top which he had on his '83 V20. (Thanks again Poobah!)

Warmth? Absolutely. I striper fished at Oregon Inlet in December and January in my boat with the top up and had some friends in 2 different center consoles fishing along with us. Guess what? They had on full rain gear, toboggans, gloves, you name it. They got wet as hell and had to stand up all day, in the wind and at one point - rain, cold as a mutha!

On the other hand, here we were in our short sleeves, dry as bone, no wind, sitting down, chillin like a villain.

The top is the BOMB! Also, on the lake I use a Mr. Heater propane heater. 65 - 70 degrees inside while its 40 degrees outside. Shorts and t-shirt in the winter time! I love it!

Where can you get one? You got to be really agressive. Go out and ask everybody in the world. Before I had mine I would look online for V20's for sale that had full enclosures and I'd email the owner to see if they'd part with the top separately. Never worked, but that's one of the only ways to do it short of having one made.

Gathered up my conferate flag and went south to Pawleys Island in South Carlinia. Did alot of pier fishing for King Fish. Caught alot of bait fish, blues, green backs, angel fish, but no King fish. Going back in October for a second try at them. : )
