Re: PLEASE HELP SAVE OUR PIER

Same here.

Local pier here at Lake Worth was damaged (cut in half) by hurricanes Frances and Jeanne in 2004 and still has not been rebuilt... *They just restored the CMAN station on it this month so at least we can get real time wind data again. Supposed to re-open spring 2007, we shall see.

Thanks a Ton guys. That pier was just rebuilt last fall and then someone bought it this yr. closing date for sale is July 1, 2006. I hope they will leave it and not build Condo's their as well. It was sold for 31 million along with the 2 campgrounds on either side. I hope we can save it. Thanks again.

Signed it.

Restoration is the way to go,
they just don't build things like they used to.

Here's a picture of my pirate castle that I am restoring.
Built in 1820.
Pic was taken this past winter.

Pipe,

I live in a little town called Lessport in Pa.
It is ten miles north of Reading,
which is approx. 80 miles northwest of Philadelphia.

Hey Parishht are you about an hour and a half from Elysburg & Paxinos PA? Have you ever been to Knoebels Groves Theme Park there? It is the coolest Theme park and one of the best riding wooden Roller coasters there too. *

Re: PLEASE HELP SAVE OUR PIER

I have been there and yes, it is a classic park.

SWince my kids have grown and moved to California,
I don't get to amusement parks anymore.

Now I have to wait for grandchildren.
