Re: GAS TANK???

my 89 is plastic, I think it's original. I didn't notice anything to indicate that it wasn't original when I re-did the cover over the gas tank.

Re: GAS TANK???

hammer, not sure, because when i changed the oil i made a mess so theres probably still oil in the bilge but its been a couple weeks and im still getting a slick when i pump the bilge.

Re: GAS TANK???

Careful Charlie...if your boat's in the water and you're pumpin' an oil-slick into it you COULD get in a world of trouble just dependin' on where you're doin' it...hate to see ya get a ''tit in the wringer'' over it, but no kiddin', if you can get that oil out of the hull another way, it'd be better...they make oil-soakers for that kinda situation ;) ...good luck w/ it anyway... ;)...

Like rick said...who's got an '88 or '89??...plastic or aluminum tank??... :)...
