That would be Genmar Indrusties . I have a 1994 V20 and love it . Are you looking at a center console or steplift ?

So Llabi, did they were they making the V-21 and the V-20 at the same time? I kinda thought the V-21 replaced the V20.

My V-21 is a 1994.

The center console was the v-20 . It did not enjoy the molded in bracket . 1994 was the last yeay for the CC , Wellcraft kept the V21 cuddy in production another couple of years .

So there was no V-20 cuddy while the V-21 was in production? ...

Correct REEL, the V-21 superceeded the V-20. Odd that they wouldn't pull the same hull mold for the Center Console, but ehy never did.

Well, I suppose from a production standpoint that would make sense...wonder why they didn't use that beautiful transom on the CC? ... 8) ...

My guess is that they knew that they were going to drop the V20 CC in favor of the God offal euro look and did did not want to spend the $ for a one year production run . If you look in the back of the 1994 catalog they have a concept drawing for the new model. I find it funny that they refered to the V20 CC as one of their best sell models . I guessthey figured out for 1995 that buyers no longer would beleive in a 35 year tested design .

Somewhere along the line, the ''marketing geniouses'' figured out they had to appeal to wives and other females in the boat-buying-decision-making-process...now I love wives and other females as much as anybody, but it sure made findin' a real fishin' boat a hard thing to do ;D ...consideration #1 in designing a fishing boat these days is where to put the porta-potti ??? ...

I had a pottie direct flush, and it worked when I got mine. Got rid of it year 2, they females can use a bucket like the rest of us!!

I am all for equal rights to use the bucket! ;)
