Re: Welcome David2180.

Thanks for the welcome :) does any one have the hatch ? also did Wellcraft offer a pump under the fish box? i found a hose an lose wires . i thought i could remove the fuel tank to get to the pump any info thanks again my boat is an 1989 V 20

msbhammer 01-25-2007 09:18 PM

Re: Welcome David2180.

Dave, are you trying to add or remove the pump from the baitwell. I have an 86 V that had an aftermaket pump, but I yanked it out. If installing one, yes you can run the line through to your tank access. Might have to drill between the divider that seperates the tank and baitwell. Post a few pics of what you got. ;)

Re: Welcome David2180.

the hose and wire go through a hole in front of the fuel tank ? there is a factory switch on the instrument panel along with bildge pump switch ,that says Pump ,it is plumbed to the right side top rear of the boat . why would there be two pumps . just trying to put every thing back to original state . thanks again for your help David

Airslot 01-26-2007 12:26 AM

Re: Welcome David2180.

The factory punp in the in-floor well goes out the side of the well, towards the fuel fill, and then runs along the starboard rod box to the stern where it goes overboard beside the stern bilge thru-hull. There was a factory switch on the dash. The fuel tank is in it's own coffin.

Re: Welcome David2180.

I have a number for a guy who might have the hatch-lid you want...I think the lid (as well as the rest of the boat) is painted red, so it'll require some work...I can call him to see if you like...let me know if you're interested...

Welcome to the board... :) ...
