The Arrival
I got a phone call from the boat hauler last night. My V-20 was traveling through Wyoming on it's way west. It should arrive here in Northen CA this evening. The hauler says it needs a good going over. It may not be the "ready to splash" boat I was looking for but by god it's MINE!!!!
I'll update with pictures tonight. |
Re: The Arrival
sound a little excited there bud, hope she is everything you were looking for. ;)
|
Re: The Arrival
Congrats, in advance ;D
|
Re: The Arrival
Not sure about what teh hauler said. That boat looked to be in excellent shape in all the pictures. You did Good Tuna on buying that V.
If you had a good hauler, he would be pulling over every few hundred miles and emailing you Pics. that you could forward to us. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D :P |
Re: The Arrival
Does this mean we should be expecting Pics. sometime tonight. ;D
|
Re: The Arrival
Yes sir. Pictures will be priority #2. Priority #1 is getting a cosmopolitan into the wife cuz she's still unhappy about this whole deal and now it'll be parked in the driveway.
|
Re: The Arrival
That may be a two cosmo night Tuna, trust me I have experience with these things :-/
And if she walks out to the boat and looks in and see's a little gift wrapped box sitting on the helm you might even get lucky ;) |
Re: The Arrival
Willy, you are a genius. I car pooled with her this morning so now I just gotta sneak out of work in time to get her something.
I suppose an Avet LX 2 speed reel would be the wrong direction to go for a gift though... |
Re: The Arrival
It's something I would do, so yes, definately the wrong direction ;D
|
Re: The Arrival
I'd buy her a smaller reel that way it won't hurt as bad when she hits you with it ;D
|
Re: The Arrival
Good point. Penn 50 wide is definitely out.
|
Re: The Arrival
good luck there tuna may you sunny days every trip out on the v ;D
|
Re: The Arrival
Hey, its not being delivered with a new Etec on it, is it? ;D
|
Re: The Arrival
Naw... no Etec but it does have a 15 hp Evinrude 4 stroke (used) and new kicker bracket waiting for it.
I hope the cosmos work or the cuddy is comfortable. |
Re: The Arrival
Isit there yet. Passing the computer room now waiting.

|
Re: The Arrival
Somebody send Tuna some little blue pills for tonight. He will need them. ;D
|
Re: The Arrival
Just before 6:00 on the left left coast. No sign of him yet. Janine is on the treadmill. I won't need to use it tonight because I'm pacing so much...
|
Re: The Arrival
It's hard to sleep knowing the wellcraft fairy is coming to see you. hope you enjoy it as much as my family has ours.
|
Re: The Arrival
any sign yet?
|
Re: The Arrival
Should have arrived by now. No Pics. :'(
Wifey must be tossing his clothes out the bedroom window. ;D |
Re: The Arrival
Tuck it in boys. I called him a while ago and he won't be here until ~ 1:30 am east coast time. The camera is ready for whenever he arrives. I had a cosmo myself so I could sit still during dinner.
|
Re: The Arrival
Damm, the driver must have stopped and took the V out for a spin. ;) ;D
|
Re: The Arrival
He trusted his GPS for driving instructions. Apparently the most direct route is not the same as the shortest drive time. He's somewhere in the mountains that separate the coast from the central valley area of the state.
That can't be good for gas mileage. |
Re: The Arrival
So you working in the morning or calling in sick and waiting for the V to show up ?
|
Re: The Arrival
This is a HELLUVA thread 8) ...I might have to stay up ;) ...get answers to...

We should have our own soap opera here. |
Re: The Arrival
Wifey was gifted with a pair of silver and amethyst earings in a wrapped box next to her cosmo. They were well received. (I have often said that I am not smart enough to come up with the great ideas by I'm certainly smart enough to recognize 'em when they hit me over the head). Kudos to brother Willy for his sage assistance ;)
I'm not out of the doghouse but I won't be sleeping in the cuddy. Reel, ya are tooooo funny. |
Re: The Arrival
Sitting here waiting and dozing off. Head keeps hitting my monitor. Is it hear yet. ;D
|
Re: The Arrival

Re: The Arrival

|
Re: The Arrival
Nah, he's good using the WillySan method. As long as the truck driver does his job Tuna will be a happy camper soon ;)
|
Re: The Arrival

|
Re: The Arrival
