Re: Different Point of View

This will be my 9th season with my boat, and I have not found the right seat arrangement yet??

passanger all set, But I have had seat then no seat then cooler then different seat now I have gone with a folding lounge chair to see how this works for me?

I like the romm with no seat, I love to drive standing, but after a long day I like to sit, and if its raining I like to sit, so I need something both comfy, and removable, But ready in a pinch!

Re: Different Point of View

Thanks for the big chair leads reel, I have looked at the ones at overtons, I think Outerbanks Outfitters has them for $169 with the cushions.

I have to decide how I am going to put em in first, seat boxes? pedistal?

I saw some nice boxes they use on work trucks the other day @ Tractor Supply, I think they would work good but they cost way too much.

Decisions decisions.

those fat man seats are simular to the seat I'm trying to find, but except for teh hinged back, tehy use two aluminum L brackets, any one got an old one laying around( I'm going to reupholster them, so all I need are two good L brackets

Re: Different Point of View

Thanks guys...hope some of those seats work out for ya!!... had my ''fat-boys'' reupholstered last year and the folding chairs are shot(this will be their last season probably)...$100 apiece to recover capt's chairs and $100 apiece to replace folders...that's $400 I COULD have saved for the price of 4 leaf bags to keep 'em covered and outta the SUN ;)...all the hardware and everything is fine, except the sun finally took its toll on the vinyl :-/ ...

If ya get new ones, keep 'em COVERED from Day One...it'll extend their life and save ya some $$$$ ;) ...

Aren't we all Ozzie, just remember " fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me"

I always thought that was one of the most important things you could teach your children ;)

Naw. The most important thing to teach your kids is not to tie their left shoe laces to their right shoe laces.

I taught my kids something like this,
it goes if you can't tie your shoes, get velcro or slip ons.
