after putting the new CD player in the boat it needed a dash board remote so I couldnt resist ;D ;D ;D

I have to admit it is clean!! When I looked at my boat last there were 1000 flys piggy backing each other all over the fish blood & guts in the boat!! :-X

Lumber,

What did you stain your teak with cause it sure doesn't look like teak? And my trim around the consoles is black plastic. How did you get yours a color - did you replace it with wood?

BTW, I'm patterning my boat after yours if you can't tell. :)

2C...ya might have mine mixed up w Slinger's ... mine's got all the bling it's gonna get ...it's had plenty blood, but not enough lately ;) ...

flounder, the teak was original to the boat ,,,,, as for how it got like this , I washed it with starbrite teak cleaner then sanded it then over about a months time I used starbrite teak oil probabaly at least 10 coats and then starbrite teak sealer and theres at least 6 coats of that ;D ;D ;D ;D
it still looks like i just did it,,,,,,( nice stuff )

Interesting. My 88' has black plastic moulding around the consoles. I sanded my trak seats in the back (actually planed them because they were so bad) and applied two or three coats of teak oil. Yours look like they have a different color from any teak I've ever seen - almost like they are stained. Maybe its the pics. Either way, it looks great.

I'm heading back in the water tomorrow (Sunday) to see how the motor runs after the work I had done to her. I'll try to remember the camera.

Yours look like they have a different color from any teak I've ever seen - almost like they are stained. Maybe its the pics. Either way, it looks great.

good luck tomorrow flounder, fyi the seats in the back I just made last fall they are not original there 5/4 x6 teak glued up with urethane glue
