Thoughts & Prayers
 

Ok many of you know that we are building a new board, and some know that we have a new webmaster his board name is valiant_200 You will get to know himm soon.

Well he has been one of my best friends for 26 years! Well his father died after a stay in the hosiptal. He was a great man! He was 83
He leaves his wife of 65 years!! 3 sons

When we were young he would help us with many projects! From fixing cars to building all kinds of things. He was a great carpenter, Built me some nice picture frames some 10 years ago that still hang in my house today!

Its funny I am trying to think of a story to tell, and I am at a loss?? There are so many times that John and I were fixing stuff and Dale would help out with.
Never did I hear a bad word come out of his mouth, or even see him get mad for that matter, even though John or I would be pissed that something had gone wrong with a project.

I am not a great writer but wanted to say something now that he is gone.

As said he was a great guy and the family lost the one thing that made them soild!

Rests in peace Dale!! We will all miss you!

Thank you Joe for those kind words and thanks to everyone else for caring. He was a good man who made this world a better place and it is my greatest wish that he has now found peace for himself.

I send you my prayers, and can honestly say I know how it feels. It wasn't long ago I lost my father, then his mother, and the next year my sister. My mothers father is in the hospital right now having an operation. It can be trying going through it. You have to keep on goin, yet never forget them.

I am sorry for you loss. You father sounds like the kind of man we all aspire to be. I'm sure the acorn didn't drop far from the tree. You father will live on in the hearts of all he touched, and it would seem that would be many. My prayer to you and your family.

John, Im very sorry to hear of the loss of your father. I know you will miss him greatly. It sounds like he was a really good and caring person with lots of patience. Reminds me of my dad whom we lost in 1980.Im sure they are both in heaven now.

Thank you, each and every one of you, for your kind and caring words. The support I have received from friends and co-workers over the past three days has gone above and beyond, and made it much easier than it would have been to take this incredible loss. It humbles me to know that so many people out there care, and I embrace you all in thanks.

My deepest sympathies to you sir. I, too, lost my father a few years back. However, I inherited his precious V-20, and feel as though he is still with me in some way whenever I look at her.

Welcome aboard John.......sincere condolances during this very difficult time.....I still have my dad and as of late find myself wanting to spend more time with him on and off the water......you must have a lifetime of wonderful memories to reflect back on...Im sure he was a great man...Thoughts & prayers to you and your family....

Thank you all very much for the condolences and the warm welcome to this board. By all means, if you still have your dad, spend time with him because when he is gone you will be sorry if you don't. I have no regrets. He lived a good, long life and that is all any of us could ask for.

John I just read the tribute and that was really awesome. You did a great job and I'm sure theres been quite a few wet keyboards after reading the tribute. Thank you for sharing it. No doubt it will inspire others, including myself, to reflect and realize how short and precious our time with our loved ones really is.

Thats a great Tribute to what seems like a great man, very well put together. I love thi pic of your father and the rooster, hits a soft spot with me as my dad has raised chickns since he was a boy, and will always be something I remeber him by.
