Hello

Anyone seen begreene??

spareparts 11-28-2022 09:00 PM

say his name three times and he'll show up in the political thread

dmoore 11-28-2022 09:05 PM

Ha! Good one! But I want to buy his boat....

spareparts 11-28-2022 09:40 PM

I've heard he spends a lot of time on the bass barn. I don't know personally as I've never been on that site. Just post up how great Trump was and he will be along shortly.

Giorgio 11-29-2022 07:28 AM

He posted in the repairs thread the other day.

dmoore 11-29-2022 09:45 AM

Thanks, Do you guy's know if he sold it?

steplift20 11-30-2022 03:25 PM

I didn't see any of his post anywhere, but my guess is he is going to vote for Donald J Trump in 2024 but can't face up that he was very very wrong with the Biden crime family . Hope he is ok.

Dmoore, given the age these boats are now, and the fact that hey were mid level boats at best, construction wise. Its going to be very hard to find one in the shape you are looking for. You might find one on a fresh water lake somewhere, but I doubt you'll find one thats been in salt that will be up to your level of interest. I'd be looking for a Pursuit/Tiarra the usually have glass stringers and composite floors, so you wont be worrying about that. They are of a higher build quality than the Wellcraft's, and they still produce a cuddy type boat, so theres more to choose from.

Spareparts,I finally found something I can disagree with you about
The wellcraft 20 foot steplift especially the 1978 model is the finest quality boat ever made . Much better than makos ,pursuits,Bertram's formulas and the New York ferry boats. If you want a great ,solid dependable boat. Wellcraft steplift 20 foot 1978 model is superior to ALL other boats and best looking in its class ( that's the truth too) sorry spare I just had to disagree with you this time.

You are correct, I have found one that has been used on a fresh water lake since new and it's a cream puff, 1983 with a 305 upgraded to a 350 with 2 hours on it. Now if I could only show it to you!

if your thinking that windshield looks a lil funny it's because its not the original. It's laid back a bit. A tree branch hit it and he installed a more modern piece.

Never mind, I only deal with sane, rational conservative individuals anymore..In any case 20k will not put him in those catagories. Besides I found my pristine fresh water use only V20 yesterday!

that's a nice one

steplift20 12-01-2022 08:44 PM

Fresh water, prestine, and wellcraft steplift. You checked all the boxes. Just wondering ,what is the engine? Outboard?inboard? Make,HP?
I just looked at the picture. Inboard very clean boat, beautiful good luck.
What's special about the 78? I own one lol

I/O...It was an optional 305 originally..brand spanking new Mercruiser 350 now. I'm going to install a closed cooling system like I did on the 74. My cousins 84 I just found has the rubber rubrail this 83 has the aluminum. Am I to guess last year for aluminum was 83?? Thank you for the compliments, Dave
