Actually, he was partially correct. What he said was Quote: "“If you’re the president of the United States, you can declassify just by saying, ‘It’s declassified,’ even by thinking about it.” unquote. Now, I'm not a legal expert, and the part about just thinking about it is kinda sketchy, but it has nothing to do with reality. He's 100% correct that the president, any president, can declassify anything simply by saying that it's declassified. Unlike lower echelon people, they do not have to fill out forms each time they declassify something. A simple verbal command is all it takes. They (a president) are the ultimate authority about what is or isn't classified.

Several people have already testified that when he was president he issued a standing verbal order that anything that was removed from the WH by him, or his staff to give to him, was automatically declassified. That being the case, anything in those boxes (which were packed by WH staffers) were automatically declassified as soon as they left the WH.

This is nothing more than another witch hunt, timed to coincide with the midterm elections to make Trump and the GOP look bad. Just another Democrap trick. We've seen and heard it all before. "Move along folks, nothing to see here".......

Dearie was one of two candidates proposed by Donald Trump as a special master to review documents seized in the FBI search of Mar-a-Lago.
Our Department of Justice then announced that it would accept him.
Dearie has a lifetime of Federal Judicial experience and is widely respected.

Trump has argued:
That the reported 11,000 documents taken from Mar-a-Lago by the FBI pursuant to a search warrant were rightfully in his possession - that he declassified - including about 100 classified as TOP SECRET containing some of our nations most closely guarded intelligence.

Hmmm.... lets stop the BS and look at some facts about this shall we?

Hillary Clinton ran a private server from her home that anyone could of and did hack into. On it were thousands of top secret files. She did not have the power to declassif6y a file simply by saying it was declassified. If she wanted a file declassified she had to go through a formal process, signing off on each file on paper. She did none of that. In an effort to avoid getting caught she had 33,000 files deleted and then "bleached" off the hard drive so they could not be retrieved, even AFTER they were subpoenaed, in a clear violation of the law. Even still she was caught with several secret files in her possession during the Muller probe. She should be in jail right now for treason but because of political malfeasance she isn't.

Contrast that to President Trump that does have the power to declassify a file simply by saying it's declassified. (The same as any president does). He says (and several people have verified that he did) that ANY file that either he or one of his aids removed and brought to him was automatically declassified. (His reasoning was that this way he could get more work done while in the presidents residence or on a trip.)

As to the part about declassifying a file just by thinking about it that was part of a longer sentence where he said " Quote: "“If you’re the president of the United States, you can declassify just by saying, ‘It’s declassified,’ even by thinking about it.” unquote. And again I'll say that he may have been mistaken about the thinking part, but since his standing orders were that anything that was removed was automatically declassified, WHICH HE DOES HAVE THE POWER TO DO, then the thinking part is moot, since any files in his possession were automatically declassified as soon as they were removed and brought to him. This whole raid on his house and the media hype is nothing but another attempt by the corrupt Democrats to make Trump and the GOP look bad right before the midterm elections. It'
s pure political theater lacking any substance.

Now, compare the two examples I've shown. Clinton breaks the law, it's proven that she did by having that private server (which by itself was against the law) and by having top secret files on that server for our enemies to see. Her punishment was ....nothing.
Trump, on the other hand, has not broken any laws, yet half the Country is calling for him to be arrested on false charges, all in the name of trying to retain power by the Democrats. They do not care whose lives they wreck, as long as they take power and turn our Country into a Socialist regime where they rule with an iron fist and you are just a serf whose only function is to serve them.

Lets take it from the top shall we? ALL of your reasons for Trump to have the documents are opinions. You do not know for certain that any of them are actually true. They are just hypothetical reasons that you thik might be the reason he had any documents. You forget that he (Trump) did not pack any of the boxes himself. White House staff packed everything. The Archives people that brought this sham of a raid on his house had several opportunities to look through the files at his house. They did so more than once and took possession of boxes of anything that they thought was this Nations property. (The last time was a month before the raid). Trump and his people had been cooperating with them right along. They even stored any boxes that the Archives people left behind in a secure room and then installed a second lock on the door for even more security.

Right now no one knows what they actualoly took, since none of the documents has been publicly shown. You can say that they are nuke secrets, and you may be right. or, you can say they may be Aunt Millies secret chilly recipe and again, you may be right. My point it accusing him (Trump) of anything at this point it just conjecture, inflamed by the left wing controlled media, to make people distrust and think Trump is lying. But no one really knows. (And it's my personal opinion that if there was really anything super secret (like Nuke information) it would have been "leaked" to the press long ago.

Again, I say, this is nothing but a designed plan to make Trump and the GOP look bad right before the midterm elections so that the Democraps can remao9in in power.
