 Republican Kevin McCarthy caught lying

The NEW YORK TIMES ran a story reporting Republican Kevin McCarthy said trump should resign because of his connection to the Jan 6 Capitol attack .
McCarthy then DENIED the Times report - which trump lovers calling it “ fake news” etc, etc. Then the Times posted the VOICE RECORDING of McCarthy saying that very thing - that trump should resign. McCarthy - caught in his LIE has now gone silent - likely working on his “ excuse” FACTS and the TRUTH https://www.huffpost.com/entry/kevin...b0d077485f34ab |

What ? No excuses to post yet ? Silent as McCarthy now that he was CAUGHT LYING .
No claiming it was fake news because the New York Times reported it ? |

I’ll believe it if I listen to the recording and analyze the wording of the accusation(s). It’s so common for democrats and their dishonest, complicit media supporters to parse words to make the truth into a lie, state opinion as fact, and just outright lie themselves that nothing they represent can be taken at face value.
I’m kind of busy, so won’t likely get to that anytime soon, and given the extreme lack of veracity of the democrats, you glomming onto what MAY be one Republican not telling the truth isn’t very impressive. If I find it to be true, I won’t have any trouble accepting it. I wonder if you’ll ever acknowledge what despicable liars the democrats have been and how destructive their policies are? |

And - McCarthys NOT denying it now that he’s been caught LYING https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qhxCMp9w3ZM |

McCarthy also on tape saying of Trump that he’s “ had it with this guy.”
But of course in public he said “ I never said that “ ……until OOPS his voice on tape saying it !!!! |

28 views and all is quite in “ fake news land”
Seems the fake news is very TRUE and ACCURATE |

If it’s true, it’ll probably cost him. What a shock it would be if democrats actually paid a price for lying. I wonder if the “laws” will close in on lying Hillary for her Steele document, they sure gave Bill a pass on his chronic lying.

The man is on tape -he lied, got caught and is not denying it…………… but still Trump lover writes “ if it’s true “ |

I write “if it’s true” because I haven’t heard the recording, haven’t seen the material about the accusations and certainly don’t believe it on the strength of you saying it.
Are you aware that snarky isn’t the same thing as clever or intelligent? It doesn’t appear so. |

 B. News …………..this report was posted by ALL news sources including FOX that did not deny it. C. Me………………..not surprised you “ don’t believe me” . Hahah you can’t handle the truth / facts So perhaps you’re “ just avoiding this news “ Hahaha |

Even if McCarthy did say it. So what? That was his opinion at the time. He, like everyone else, is allowed to have an opinion and also like everyone else is allowed to change it as time and circumstances change. it proves NOTHING other than some obscure footnote in history.

McCarthy LIED - said he never said it’s his opinion trump should resign - then was caught by his own reordered voice . You guys are what’s known as “ a piece of work “ FACT DENIERS |

McCarthy “ changing his mind” isn’t the issue .
FACT IS McCarthy DENIED he ever spoke with associate advising he planned to advise trump to resign. He called it all a lie…..until the voice recording of him speaking those exact words was played ! He also said of trump “ I’ve had it with this guy” So this LIAR McCarthy will likely be our next Speaker of the House. With a proven record of LYING . |

Ha, ha, ha - good grief. I’ll get to it when and if I decide to. I’m doing actual work on a number of things that are important to me and my family - your posts, as biased and one sided as they are don’t rise instantly to the top of my priorities.
You would probably get more respect if you could control your mindless, snarky, not clever or remotely accurate, clumsy attempts at jabs. |

So when McCarthy becomes the next speaker, he’ll be introduced as the Liar of the House
But republicans respect lying ….after all Trump was the Liar in Chief for 4 years |

I’m pretty sure there’s nothing anyone could do to take the title of “Liar of the House” from Pelosi. Remember, it’s the democrats who have and continue to make lying the status quo.
You not caring in the least about that fact, doesn’t mitigate the fact that the lying, cheating traitorous democrats are, through incompetence and misguided ideology driven policies, doing huge damage to the country. But, hey - in your exceptionally narrow, rigid, biased mind, “Republican, conservative, non-far left people” BAD! |

You know, I did a little experiment when you returned after a few days off from posting. I was extremely careful to be respectful and to only address the things you were posting, without evaluation of your motives or how far off the rails you were.
Immediately, when your conclusions were challenged, you resorted to your snarky attempts at insults. Even then, I have made my responses accurate evaluations of your bad behavior - and yes, your behavior is so bad that accurate evaluations of it are prone to be insulting (if you don't reflect on them in a self evaluative way. You are the instigator of insults across this forum. Fortunately, your opinions don't garner enough respect for anyone to actually be insulted by you. As for who's lying and to what extent it affects anything, we are all (except apparently you) quite capable of forming our own conclusions and balancing the imperfections of politicians with their policies, competence and leadership abilities. |

I’ll give you a “ little experiment “ to try scook.
Try dealing with the FACTS starting with: 1. Trump lost by wide margin to Biden - but pushed the big lie that he won. 2. Trump encouraged the attack on our Capitol in his words to “ be strong be wild “ along with his lawyer who encouraged “ election by combat “ or such. 3. Trumps been lying on so many things - 40,000 is the recorded amount, give or take. 4. Trumps a disgrace - he took the word of Putin over Americans . |

You might try an experiment - try not thinking you’re so brilliant that you can disrespect everyone who has an honest disagreement with you by ignoring anything you don’t agree with and attacking with your pathetic attempts at insults, and NEVER making an honest, direct response to anything.
I’m quite able to deal with the facts - Biden’s in the WhiteHouse, much to the detriment of the country - those are both facts. I don’t know how crooked the election was, but it was certainly a good deal more so than you acknowledge with your lawyer speak about all the “certifications” by the likes of the FBI, which actively and traitorously propelled attempts to destroy a presidency and associated individuals. Your refusal to acknowledge that clearly proven fact makes you an extremely unpatriotic person. You obviously value your anti-Trump/Republican/conservative hatred and bias more than any concern for the current destruction of the country. His words may have been taken as encouragement for the minuscule fraction of the people who were violent, but you certain conclusion that he knowingly encouraged it is opinion, not unlikely from someone as wildly biased as you. The 40,000 lies is obviously a blatant lie built on taking his words to mean things that they clearly didn’t mean. You don’t like him and your confirmation bias makes you want to believe things he never said - I observed that happening throughout his presidency often. When he said Mexico wasn’t sending their best people, he was a racist (notwithstanding Mexican not being a race and that it had nothing whatever to do with what he was talking about. When he stopped travel from China at the beginning of the pandemic, he was a xenophobe - that’s too stupid to rate further comment. The list goes on. His judgment that American agencies were not telling the truth early on was probably spot on. It’s not disgraceful, it’s called savvy and being able to use experienced judgment. That’s pretty obviously something you don’t understand. |

More endless insults from scook .
And your comment ref the minuscule number of violent attackers at our Capitol is wrong. Over 2,000 people were violent and about 140 police officers injured in the insurrection attempt encouraged by the lying cheating con man trump - Putin loving traitor that you love. Imagine a President of our United States publicly siding with a murderous dictator over our American people. Yes - trump did that and scook supports it . You should go to the Ukraine and tell them how you feel. |

More endless dishonest nonsense from bgreene - I said minuscule fraction of the demonstrators - you’ve learned well from your news sources. Misquote so as to present a dishonest picture that supports your dishonest narrative.
There were nothing like 2000 violent people - certainly not by the standards of the rampant domestic terrorists that ravaged cities for months on end. And you’re still mired in the “mud” of your willful ignorance about “our American people”, apparently people like you, who knowingly and maliciously lied over and over and over and over to try to destroy Trump. Probably a good idea not to take their words at face value under the conditions. Don’t open your eyes with your head in the sand, it will be very uncomfortable. |

George Floyd death related civil unrest was NOT an insurrection attempt on our government largely supported by the president who LOST the election !!
It was trump supporters who attacked our Capitol police . Republicans |

Well, it was some far right folks - pretty far to the right of Republicans (but you like to use the broad brush, like your CNN lying heroes) to smear a huge group with the actions of a few. The violence at the capitol was very bad.
The George Floyd (actually much wider anarchist) rioting was just as misguided, way more destructive and supported by Biden and his far left crew. |

 B. Trumps a traitor to vocally take the word of the lying murderer Putin over our good American intelligence professionals . Disgusting |

And McCarthy just keeps on LYING .
Now he’s even LYING about his LIE. And this man may become speaker of the house . A proven LIAR that won’t even confess the TRUTH after being caught on tape !!!! https://www.cnn.com/2022/04/26/polit...n-6/index.html |

Looks to me like CNN is trying to manufacture a lie. He said he must have misunderstood the question, and it's obvious he's not interested in CNN's gotcha nonsense when he's trying to address actual serious issues like Biden's abject failure at the boarder.
You dig up two "possible" less than truthful statements by Republicans and now being a LIAR is the new way to be a major player in the party? This is brainless, even for you and your far left world view. How about focusing on important issues, one of which is what bald-faced liars massive numbers of democrats are. My observation is that you pretty much have to check the "Yes I am a LIAR" box to get a democrat seat on a committee in congress. |

Hahah scooks trying to cover for McCarthy !!
McCarthys now going with “ oh I didn’t understand the question” A 6th grader could easily understand the question . LIAR ! |

The so what is he DENIED it and called The NY Times report a completely false lie. Until the NT Times played the audio of McCarthy saying EXACTLY what he denied ! Now all of a sudden start the excuses. You guys are amazingly willing to follow trumps lead and lie and deny. You wont even be honest enough to accept this blatant fact. Wow. |

“We” aren’t denying and certainly are not lying about anything.
It’s not about honesty on our part, it’s that we’re not stupid enough to believe anything you say without well sourced documentation, which you seldom provide. Your links, more often than not, provide no more than heavily biased opinions (often probably fabrications) reported as facts. And regarding your “so what” objection - the article you posted posited that most or all politicians lie - their difficulty with McCarthy was that he wasn’t clever about it. There’s a good demonstration of the integrity of your press sources. |

McCarthy said the NYTimes report was a lie - and he never said he mentioned the idea that trump should resign ! Then ….oops The NY Times played the voice recording of McCatyhy saying that EXACT thing. All went silent from McCarthy the liar, until he came up with his feeble excuse, which you support . Hahaha sad. |

Then you should lay off the lying insults and stick to the subject of your thread.

Well, there’s another lie. I don’t excuse him, I just don’t take your word for anything without seeing credible verifying documentation, which I haven’t had time to assess. I’m the context of the mess created by democrats, including wholesale lying, this issue hasn’t risen to a priority that’s worth much of my attention.

So far you made excuse “ oh he didn’t understand the question” excuse |

No excuse, I said that he had said he must have misunderstood the question and either he's telling the truth about that, or not.
When and if I look into it and see that it's a fact, I won't have a problem acknowledging it. |

Everyone knows he lied but you claimed to be “ too busy doing real work to check the story” Meanwhile you have time to write endlessly long posts on this site which takes much more time. You’re such a phony scook - amazing . |
