I was initially optimistic about the concept of trump running for office . The FACTS of his actions showed he was the WRONG man for the job . Sooooo many examples : Here’s another one of his slogans “ drain the swamp” of Washington. Remember that slogan ? Except trump appointed so many criminals that he created his own NEW swamp!!!! FACTS pipe - not conspiracy theories |

Because this thread is about turnip brain Joe, not Trump. |

I guess that means the man doesn’t read news ONE thing ……just one thing . So I named TWO good things Bidens done which is 100 % more than the thread poster requested. And you piss on it - because that’s who you are. |

And do you honestly believe that, even stretching the actual infrastructure contained in the bill to 24%, that makes it a good thing? Sold vigorously as an infrastructure bill, being only 75% a lie, makes it truth and fact?

Heres whats in the bill and its very good ok so maybe calm down with the tricky comments Take your pick https://www.nytimes.com/2021/11/15/u...ture-bill.html https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-...tructure-deal/ https://apnews.com/article/joe-biden...e9fc91f5eb4c0d |

And exactly where did you prove my comment wrong? You mean where you cherrypicked one sentence from an entire paragraph without adding in the Fact that they are calling things that have never been called "infrastructure" before into the bill so it looks better? But even that still only accounts for only 24% of the money. I'll stand by my original comment that only about 7% of the bill is going to traditional infrastructure items. . |

Now, how about trying to act like an adult instead of a coward hiding behind personal insults and actually answer the question posed to you. Where is the rest of the money going? Or don't you know? . |

bgreene - your response to my post was snarky, disrespectful and condescending - there nothing in my post that’s the least bit tricky and I certainly don’t need you telling me to calm down. I calmly pointed out that when a bill is sold as infrastructure and 76% of it’s not infrastructure, it’s dishonest.
Whether or not everything in the bill is good, which I don’t agree with, that doesn’t mean we can afford to pay for it. |

You disagree that your response was disrespectful and condescending? You should probably read it again.
The infrastructure percentage I used is your number that you used to “prove Destroyer wrong”, which it seems is more important to you than actually discussing issues sensibly. And of course you didn’t prove him wrong. Everything we have here is infrastructure of a sort. The fact that I can buy just about anything I need for a project shows that we have an amazing infrastructure. The infrastructure that the government is responsible for is a very small segment of all infrastructure. Where that line is drawn is a source of very significant disagreement between the left and the right - disagreeing with you about where the line is is not sneaky, tricky or ignorant. In the case of the infrastructure bill, it’s an issue if fiscal responsibility. The most egregious claim in the link you posted is that the bill is partly “paid for” by redirecting Covid relief and other funds - none of those things are paid for whether they’re redirected or not. |

I also apologize if I offended you with any of my comments |

Oh, and as a FYI to anyone that doesn't know, Biden has signed a bill to release/sell 50 million barrels of oil from our strategic reserve to help reduce the cost of gas and oil. But what most people don't know is that 18 million barrels of that oil was already earmarked to be sold to help pay for the "Infrastructure" pork bill they just enacted. So really it's only 32 million barrels additional. (Oh, and that amount of oil is only a 2 1/2 days supply for the US) It's all smoke and mirrors that will do nothing to lower the cost of oil or gas, but it will help them pay for some more of the pork in the Infrastructure bill. . |
President Joe Bidens infrastructure commitment - helping to keep America great .
Absolutely |
