Fall Grouper Bite Finally Starts

Water still very dirty from storms, but did manage to scare these guys up. Was not going to go today, going to work around house, but my wife said,"Let's Go"

got out about 11:30 had one in the box by 12:30, got another one on and Flipper stole him off the line. Left for about an hour, came back and picked up the second one.

Glad I always listen to my wife

With another storm in the Gulf and heading North, the weather is going to be nasty until Saturday, so I decided today was the day

the amazing thing, to me , we are catching these fish in less than 20 ft of water and 3 miles from the ramp. put in at 11:30 and had these by 1:30


October/November is my favorite time of year

Thanks guys, felt good to go out. Haven t trolled for grouper since before the hurricane 2 years ago. Still dealing with building projects around the house.

Side note, Allman Brothers and Springsteen were playing when they hit.

Well, another weekend and another storm in the Gulf heading north. The wife took off work Friday and we went out again Overcast and Breezy but did bring another one home.
