1976 v20 SOLD
4 Attachment(s)
This has been a great boat. The engine blew a few years ago and I have decided I will not be replacing it. The transom has been replaced 5-6 years ago. The top was custom made. There are 14 rod holders. I will include the Lowrance bottom finder and chartplotter. Saddle tanks. I have custom enclosure. Besides the engine, the boat is in good shape. The trailer goes with it. I am not sure if the LED lights still work. SOLD I do have safety equipment and other items that could be purchased separately. Boat is located in Pinellas County Florida.

Beautiful boat you have there and your giving her away for 1000 dollars, the trailer is more than that. She won't last long for sale somebody is going to take her, you should keep her.
|
What state do you live in?
|
The boat is in Florida
|
Your boat looks gorgeous. I'd like to talk with you about it. I'll send you an private message. Thanks! Phil

is the blown engine still on it?
how was the transom repaired, replaced or poured? If replaced, from the inside or outside? |

The rotten transom was completely removed (cut out) and replaced. I know the guy did a great job, but I am not sure how he did it. My ex knows , but I don't talk to him anymore. |
I would buy your boat in a heartbeat, but I have 3 boats already and if I bought that one I would probably have an Ex instead of a saint of a wife.
Your boat is easily worth twice what you're asking. The top alone is worth your asking price. (Really) I'm sure she will sell quickly. If she doesn't, private message me and I'll probably buy her right after I talk to my divorce lawyer. |

Thank you for sharing information on your boat. I very much wanted to buy it and take a road trip to Florida to get it, but my wife said (blah... blah... blah)... I didn't get it all, but it was something about my already having one V20, and fiscal responsibility, and not enough time to take on another project, and ... (I forgot the rest).... but I quickly learned that the answer was no. Good luck with the sale. I especially liked that the bottom was never painted, and I love the custom tower with rocket launchers. That rules! |
If it's still available I'll buy it. See your private messages for info.
|
I am going to call it, this is not real !!!

I believe you're real. Would you consider selling me the tower with the rocket launchers, top, enclosure and the anchor roller / bow pulpit?
That is, assuming I can get someone to come by, remove them and transport them to me... which I *might* actually be able to do. Please email me directly phil pjb3 com (of course there is an @ and .) and we can determine if this is feasible and/or a viable option. |
Relax guys. We're already making arrangements. I told her I would buy it and we're PM'ing back and forth working out the details. Mark this one as sold.
|
@Destoryer,
If for some reason you don't purchase this boat, I am very interested, and would like to be next in-line, so-to-speak. |
Understood. Of course, I can't speak for her (the seller), but on my side if I don't buy it for some reason you are number 1 on my list. But I doubt that I won't buy it.

I am not MIA, I have been busy with family issues. Just am FYI, I***8217;m much more interested in someone from Florida/local taking the boat. I will not part it out. I just want it gone and not in my yard anymore.

Seller beware better don't try any scam with Destroyer, just saying, I am sticking to my original statement until proven otherwise. :bat:

When i communicated with the seller, she seemed legit to me.
That included, when I asked her if she thought the trailer was roadworthy enough to make a trip from FL to VA... assuming I replaced the tires and had the wheel bearings checked and repacked, she said she didn't know, and that the trailer was a little small for the boat, but she could look at it again and take some more photos. Before that happened, my boss... the one I live with and said "I do" in a certain ceremony, informed me that I wasn't making a road trip to Florida, and I wasn't buying a second V20, no matter what I planned to do with it, and thus I bowed out. I don't know Destroyer's experience, and I'm certainly not putting my endorsement on the line here, but I'm just saying that it didn't seem strange to me... at least not that far... although obviously I'd want to go further... talk to the person on the phone. See some more photos, get an address, and make plans to drive down there to get the boat and pay for it *when I pick it up*. Also, I have family in the area, so I would have asked them to go by and take a look and meet the seller BEFORE I drove to Florida to pick it up, so I had a plan. With that said, do your own homework if you're interested, as with any sale, especially of used goods, Caveat emptor. Of course, I should add that I still leave milk and cookies out for Santa too! :-) |
Is your boat still got sale?

It's been a while, but spring *is* coming. Are you still around? Are you still looking at selling the boat. I might be interested again... Sincerely, -Philip |

Will you trade for the Brooklyn Bridge?
|
Something is not right, a boat like that should have been sold in 5 minutes even with the blown engine something is not kosher in Florida. Destroyer did you ever get to buy that boat?
|
I tried to go see this boat, but the wife told me that she sold it to a friend. I saw it on FB MP.
Wet Hulls! |

They post great pictures of a nice item, promise the world, but never seem to be able to produce the item. (And of course they want a deposit (usually in the form of a gift card or bank draft) in order to "hold" the item until you can come get it. As soon as you sent the money they disappear. It's good we are rid of this biatch. |
