Bahama's fishing

I am taking my family to the Bahama's over spring break and planning a half day fishing trip. Hope to catch a couple but what I don't know. Will post pictures of what we catch or what we see others catch and just say we caught them. ;D

Have a great trip.

Nothing like a family fishing trip,
if the kids catch fish, it doesn't matter if dad catches any.

Re: Bahama's fishing

Mama and daugther dont want to fish but my son does. Paris your right if my son catches the only fish it will still be worth it.

Re: Bahama's fishing

Well we made it back home in one piece but it was hard adjusting to 50 deg whether from 80 deg. Went on one fishing trip and I caught a barracuda (about 14") the others on the boat caught a 20" barracuda and a dolphin. ???

Have pictures on digital camera but not with me now. >:(Took my fish to a local restruant and had it cooked. That was my first taste of barracuda and it was very good even if they are claimed to be posionous. That was the most expensive fish dinner I have ever had ($220.00). :-/

Dont think Momma didn't let me know it to. ;)

Will post pics soon.

The stay in the bahamas was great. Two snorkling trips, countless trips to the beaches, warms wheather and a free bottle of rum in the freezer at the condo. It dont get any better then that. 8)

Welcome back Turbo, glad the family had a great vacation. Now, lets see if we can get your a flattie dinner for under 2 bills ;D

Re: Bahama's fishing

Very cool Turbo. Sounds like fun. I've always heard cuda was pretty tasty aside from the poison lol. I suppose the smaller fish would have less chance of having the deadly poison but just guessing.

Glad you got out on the water while you were down there D-Man. I know you were HAPPY to get out on the water while you were there so if mama comments on the cost of the fish dinner again ask her what price she puts on her husband being happy doing something HE likes to do? ;)

Re: Bahama's fishing

Yeah it was great, but my son didnt get to reel one in since he was sleeping while I reeled mine in. At $110 I hope he enjoyed that nap.

The smaller one are not supose to be poison since they arent as old.
