trim tabs

i am looking for tabs for my cudy with a bracket probably Bennett m120 sport tabs. what do the other tab users use and do you have a picture of your mounting. Do you like your tabs or would you do it differently if you had a choice. thnxs for any info.

Here is my M120 installation. I have had it for one season and I am very happy with it. I wasn't originally going to get the rocker switch with the LED indicator lights but I'm really glad I did. I'm a stickler for weight distribution so they really help with balance - but at the same time, if I had it to do over again, I would put the hydraulic pump closer to the centerline of the boat. I now have it just about as far aft and to starboard as it can go and I will probably move it inward a bit when I redo the wiring.

nice setup thanx for the pics. Does the m120 seem to be plenty big enough? They almost look small in the pics.

I have never run a V20 with any other model of tabs but the M120s seem more than adequate. I have never extended them more than about about 60% to get the ride I wanted. I usually run them around 30%.

Thanks! I was tired of the never ending mud puddle..

i run m120s too, usually run them 50-60%... wish they were bigger.

mind you im way stern heavy. 350mag and a bravo1 drive, dual type 31 batteries, kicker, downriggers etc etc

fixit 12-09-2017 12:17 AM

might add that i have the autoretracting, with indicators (EIC) package.

ive been through 4 relays in 2 years... still have issues with not going down or up on one side or the other
id avoid the eic model

I disabled auto retracting. Seems easier to let them be most of the time..

Hey. Could you post a pic of the trim tabs? I want to put on some electrics this spring but am concerned with the location of my kicker.

I'm in the process of installing 9x12 Lencos...Haven't splashed yet, but according to the size chart they should be the right ones

Nice! They are on my list. Some pics and the results of the sea trial would be much appreciated.
