end of summer king mackeral http://i377.photobucket.com/albums/o...psszxvnhvr.jpg this is the last friday of the summer, managed to sneak away for a couple hours this afternoon before the afternoon showers hit. real slow, no birds, no bait, water temps in mid 80's. bout to call it quits when this guy comes along. thought it was a short, not much fight until he saw the boat. good way to close the summer.... http://i377.photobucket.com/albums/o...psqeacuguu.jpg this is where he ended up about 1 hour after the first pic was taken |

 I think I hear a banjo...:haha: |
|
that'a my jotul camp stove circa 1977 probably a collectors item in certain parts of scandinavia the smoker part is pure north florida cracker |
|
OH, it's a banjo. I saw a woman in front of a man, something protruding from his crotch, and went X rated right from the get go. |
|
Nice catch, I know it tasted good |
|
That's one high dollar firebox. I have an old Jotul & an R2D2, maybe I could make a Phat designed smoker? |

go for it G, necessity is the mother yadda yadda yadda we had a woodburning stove store in the 70's. sold jotul, vermont casting. birmingham iron works, earth stove, and a few more i can't remember. also pre fab fireplaces. great idea, just hard to make a go of it with our 4-6 week winter if i only could have come up with a wood burning air conditioner |

You would be rich. I think it could be done, really. Sold an old vermont castings on craigslist a little while ago, wished I'd kept it now. |

I saw it in the corner of your smoker picture. I've had mine for several years and my buddy was original owner for several years. I've only rebuilt mine once but recently my dad got a freebie at a yard sale in ok shape. At some point I'm gonna do some part swapping. Yours looks really good to be that old. p.s. nice king |

that is scary....I do the same procedure with lighting the lighter then turning the valve, lid always open. The one thing that got me - waited too long to clean the stacks and drip pan. Went outside to find flames coming out of the left stack. :oh: Char-grilled burgers were salvaged, thankfully. Just glad the grill wasn't next to a wall or it could've been real bad. Great grills, not the best for a steak IMO but will do the job. |
