Our country has been in the process of being busted out for years now.
The price to pay for allowing ourselves to be slaves to big banks and wall street. Caution, some language, but nothing as bad as the screwing this great country has gotten. http://youtu.be/ZPtjyqgZAUk |
Ordered some new tailgate straps from the dealer, the tag said made in China of course.

All parts have beenmade far away for years! nothing new here. but we are the ones screwed, the big co. get cheap labore, cheap parts, then import. Say they are a American co. cause they are based here.
If any part is made some were else, then they should not be able to say they are USA co. and pay the price with no tax cerdit!! |

Ford and Chrysler too: We just didn't have to bail Ford out like we did Rick Wagoner's GM or Chrysler.. Argentina, Taiwan, China, Venezuela, Slovakia, Russia. Some of the plants are state of the art. At one plant in South America, Ford literally dug their own port so they could roll the cars out of the plant and onto a transport ship. One example of efficiency that will never be allowed in the US. |

I think Ford sells 100,000 units a month in China, so it does make the bean counters take notice. What are you gonna do?

Not so New News of Ford South America and how they are integrating suppliers on the assembly floor, five different platforms going down the same line. It is impressive. I know it isn't breaking news. I just recall reading about it back in 2008 and ran across it again. Vendors working hand in hand with production line workers, Just In Time components, the suppliers even helped pay for the plant. Unprecedented levels of cooperation and slashing of red tape. Heavy duty slingers of new technology. |
In case anyone has failed to notice, we (America) is getting left in the dust. Yes, we get the end product, so we think it's made here, but ALL of our state of the art manufacturing is being made off shore... even our tanks!!!! So when the next war breaks our, how are we going to come together like we did in WWII? Face it kids, whoever survives is going to have to bow down to different Masters... All because of the greed of our present ones.
