Re: Dual console in NJ
I think I saw that one here before??
|
Re: Dual console in NJ
I don't remember that one, would have jumped all over it here in NJ.
|
Re: Dual console in NJ
Could have been one with the same decals?? But sure looks like it.
I just wish they did something better with that ugly windshield!! |
Re: Dual console in NJ
I used to have a REAL BONER for dualies, gettin' over it as I've come to realize how far BACK the consoles are...they aren't near as far forward as Cuddy dash...too much bow; not enuff cockpit...JMHO... ::)...
|
Re: Dual console in NJ
Yes you are right there, but they ride like a CC and thats a good thing, plus you have the use of the whole boat!@!@
|
Re: Dual console in NJ
Got to tell you MJ did not feel a whole lot of difference in ride between CC's and Cuddy's. Just my experience, and CC's seemed a little squirlier in cross waves type chop

Re: Dual console in NJ
Cuddys=JUST RIGHT!!...JMHO ;D ;D ;D ;D...

Re: Dual console in NJ
Well, as always it boils down to an individual's wants in a boat layout...for me, it's all the cockpit space I can get...if bow-castin' space is what ya need, then that's a perfect setup... 8)...

Re: Dual console in NJ
I think you are right as far as the CC being a little more squirlier in a cross, but they do ride better then a cuddy.
I love my cuddy!! its just what I wanted!! and still do, but if I had a chance for the dual I would go for it. |
Re: Dual console in NJ
I think for me the dual would have been a decent boat and if I had seen that one while looking probably would have bought it. But now after having the cuddy with the dry storage, place for a potty weather protection etc. never mind the full transom I definetly would not change.
I fly fish so the huge cockpit is great but not being able to walk a fish around the whole boat is definetly an aggravation and someone needs to handle the boat in that set up but it really has not been a major problem. More of an inconvienence. Now if someone would build a 23' V with a walk around cuddy I think you would be in fishing/boating heaven. If I ever get another boat, well you watch that is what it will look like ;) |
Re: Dual console in NJ
I want a boat with a center console, cuddy cabin and a bowrider......I'm sooooooo confused ??? ;D ??? ;D ??? ;D

Re: Dual console in NJ

Re: Dual console in NJ
How about this Willy? Add a full enclosure from T-top and this would be the deal!

Re: Dual console in NJ
which one is that Tin, Dusky? I just love that type of hull. Same with Shamrocks with full keel, which is the boat I'd have now if I had the money.
I think I would prefer the walk around cuddy style with full windshield and super model spanking room below decks 8) |
Re: Dual console in NJ
I believe it's a Potter built 23' Seacraft Savage, pretty rare.
|
Re: Dual console in NJ
Sweet, looks a lot like the Dusky. And a lot like the Shamrock.
You ever been on one of them Shamrocks with full keel Tin. They come like that boat and also a WA. Guys I know that have been on them say they are the sweetest riding hulls made. Very stable, very little slamming, very dry. Track thru the waves like they are on tracks. Bet you that boat has the keel too. |
Re: Dual console in NJ
Was that boat for sale somewhere Tin
