Delayed this year because of the floor and stringer replacement.

Never been to Tices and I am looking forward to it!

The only day in july that would be good for me would be the 19th. Unless we go into August. Then I have a few more days to go.

Sorry, 19th does not work for me. I have some fairly complex real estate problems ongoing that will require my attention for most of the month. Like CaptPete, almost anytime in August works much better for me.

As Reel said it's in the mill so don't be too surprised if the southern V20 contingent shows up with our wives and a southern V20 and there has been a offer to Willy and his wife to come ride with us. I'm real. I just stood in front of a mirror and I saw my reflection. So I'm not a ghost or a Vampire. Willy and I have spoken on the telephone, so he can attest that "someone" spoke back to him. I'm just busy with a lot of projects, and while I'd love nothing more than going to the Tices get together and meeting everyone there, it has not always been in the cards. This year seems no different. My mom died and my siblings and I inherited her house. We have to get it painted/repaired for insurance reasons, and prepared for sale. Since many of them live out of State and one of them out of Country, getting six people here for an entire month is not an easy task. Unfortunately, that month is July, and since I cannot be two places at the same time my priority this year has to be the house project. So if it's going to be in July I probably can't make it. Like I said, August is a better month for me.

oh yeah. Very kayak friendly. Google Island beach state park. That's what Tice's is part of.

Sorry to hear, but it is fun to kid you about that. We have spoken on the phone also, so I'm like Willy someone has spoken back. Hope things change 1 year so you can make it.

Ya, I know, but I just wanted people to know that I really do want to be there.. it just never seems to work out. The one year I did get there, my fuel pump/oil pump thingie quit on me in the slip.. I had to haul it out and go back home. Someday I'll make it...even if it's in my rowboat.

My trusted and esteemed colleague and I talked today and it's a no-go for both of us...:cen:...he's got some stuff goin' on and I do too, so we'll just have to look forward to '15.

I'm in with the family as usual.

I cannot go. Wearing a portable defibrillator, it's not a good idea for me to be around water. I have no wish to become an electric eel. 2 more months wearing this thing... UGH. Then they evaluate again and either I'm off it or they implant one under my skin, which is a whole lot better. The up side is I can go anywhere, the down side is I can't weld anymore, since the electric field can effect the unit. (much like a microwave oven can effect a pacemaker). :head: But in all cases the ghost will remain one for another year... <sigh> Post pics guys....

Here is a fish I caught Saturday the 12th. Just west of Tices Shoal.

I'm trying my best to have the boat done enough to get there. The first sea-trial may be to tices. def no bottom paint and prob covering panels that aren't done with shrinkwrap and tape. I do have a steering wheel, control box and gas.
What time do you all show up?

I figure we'll be down there sometime between 12 and 1. I usually anchor up toward the north end in pretty close to land.
