A strange oder started coming from my PC when I clicked on that ::) 85 at 1/2 throttle.... hmmm Must be in Kilometers per hour. Tricked out with extra seats??? More like wasted valuable fishing space. Look closely and you'll see he has the saddle tanks. I hope there's more fuel storage on that boat. :o 250 Yamaha cruis'n 85 at 1/2 throttle is probably still pretty thirsty! :-/

This boat will never see 85 mph unless you put it on a trailer.

I emailed that guy asking him how he clocked his speed, I told him he had the fastest V20 on earth, he sent me this reply:

that guy has lost his mind it's only 1 250 thay are lucky to run 50 with a 225 i know 25 more isn't going to top out much over 60 lol

still you have to admit, it would be nice to have a v20 that tops out at 170 mph. be a real short ride to the best fishin holes.

actually thats the least of my problems... i got the v8 chevy with 260 hp. my boat should go up dam near 200 mph... i dont want to go that fast... HELP! ? ! ?

A: Nope, according to my GPS we were going 85mph and the rpm reads 3800 top rpm is 6500

I think that guy needs to put the crack pipe down in order to get a proper reading from his gps. Maybe the smoke got in his eyes or something ;D

1) Its not a 78 - 78 has the cuddy door, doesn't it?
2) Gas tank is not 76 - 100 as posted, uless he added more.
3) 85mph half-throttle, got a chuckle out of that!

Don't get me wrong, I like the boat! But 3 lies right off the bat? Gotta wonder about this seller :-/

I agree top speed on mine is only like 120ish, give or take 80.

I think he's seein' a 3 and thinkin' it's an 8...it would be an understandable mistake if he's over 40 or so and hasn't gotten glasses...that or either he's a LYIN' sack of horse poopie :o...

I think the most hp the v20 was rated for was 235 not 250. Could be an issue for the insurance guy. I'd repower with a 125 and at half speed I'll still do 42 or 43 mph.
