Just bought another 3.7

Every few days I search on ebay for 470 merc or 3.7 in the used section to see what I can find . I found and bought a 3.7 long motor. The guy recounds he bought it for the head and sat the bad head back on it to sell off .I got it no one bid on it $150 / I was always concerned if the block was to ever crack or a piston or rod let go I would be in the deep **** trying to find one . My future worries about that are gone the guy also said it was a 190hp engine so it would interesting to se how different the grinds are on the camshaft

Aussie, we think alike! I bought a spare engine that looked like brand new but was stuck for 150.00. I got it home and got it unstuck and started it up. I'd probably freshen it up before use but still got a complete motor if I need it.
