We forget the NJ get together thread?
 

It just occured to me that we usually have plans for a NJ get together WAY before now.....its almost July already!....

Anybody interested and want to offer some dates? Last week in August is out for me, we are going to FL.

I was wondering about that myself! The only thought for me would be the weather since I would have to travel the ocean from Belmar NJ. Well their is always the possibility of loading up on a trailer. So lets see what others have to say.:head:

There was some kind of a thread earlier this year. Not sure if it was postponed or "lets see what happens". etc etc.. but I remember it being discussed briefly. Maybe I'm halucinating... (gotta stop sniffing those 2 stroke fumes) but I seem to recall it.

Well the Step Up went up on the trailer a week ago for a heart transplant. Yep after 26 years of salt water being sea water cooled she cracked the block!
She will receive a new not reconditioned long block asp. Am talking about even a little more steam since some folks are upping their horse power,but let me tell you I won't be able to touch the 200hp outboards. I still have a alpha one drive which will limit my horse power. I hope I will be ready for Tices.:part:

One week to go! I am almost ready what a major job because I up graded a pre 86 mercruiser to a later model 350. Some changes were expensive some not so expensive but the bottom line is its all brand new with maximum horsepower applied to a alpha one. Now if Bennet Greene can make it, their will be three V-20's with new power plants.

I am planning on making it....Wont be camping this year so it will be a drive down on the morning of. Probably be there about the same time because it seemed to take forever to get out of the camp site and on the water

Yup, will have the whole family (and dog) in tow for sure. Anybody got any young ones to bring along they would love the company.....all they can stand sitting around watching old farts sit on a boat.

Im sorry fellas but I wont be making the trip this yr as I don't have my boat in the water yet and I'm layed up with some back problems ....lately just standing up hurts ,,,, but I do plan on getting to boat in soon because I paid for my slip and it sits empty.... so plz take lots of pictures the weather looks like it going to be perfect..... have fun guys.

My wife has to work till noon or so on Saturday. So we should be getting out there around 2.

Tommy, are you still coming and whats your time frame?

.As its a small group, and the only definite for sure is pete getting there at 2:00 I am planning on exploring around the inlet and maybe outside in the morning and early afternoon and head back into tices around 1:00 or so.
