watch out out for user FRYPAN

he just sent me a private message claiming hes new to the forum and cant get acess. then his message turns to jibber jabber beware of this kid jack!!!!!

Kracker Jack 05-06-2013 04:35 AM

well now I feel like a real jerk!!!! he sent me another message because he read this thread and he is real!!! lol!!! when he sent me the message is was like in code or something seemed fishy, but his next message was legit. sorry frypan!!! MJ this man needs some help getting acess to the site.

chumbucket 05-06-2013 06:27 AM

Typically when MJ approves a new member, it takes a day or two before their account is actually activated. At least I'm pretty sure that's how MJ has it set up. This usually discourages spammers where someone legit will wait a day or two.
The system isn't always fool proof and some spammers still slip through, but I think MJ is able to stop most of them that way.
I'm sure he'll see this and take care of it and Frypan will be all set.

Ur such a Bully Jack LOL J/K

Frypan, that was ur initiation..... LOL

When you get activated, come join the crazy party that IS wellcraftv20.com

macojoe 05-06-2013 01:19 PM

As CB stated I go thur the new members list almost daily, I have deleted 1000's of spammers!!Some days we have 3 new members to look thur, other days I have over a 100, I am not 100% on all of them and a few have got thur but I think we are doing a good job of getting most of them.
All new members stay waitting for 2 or 3 days as I have found that the spammers do not get reported fast some times and come up clean on my search, by waiting a few days any that are getting reported do so and its easy to get rid of them.
Fry Pan is set and can post when ready!! Thanks for watching guys!!

Thanks for activating me!

Now the reason why I joined this place, I got a wellcraft v20 has some rotten floors and other spots that need to be fixed but its a cool little boat.

Looks like you altered the hull w/an upsweep to the stern...that musta been a pretty involved mod...on second look, maybe not on the hull mod...

frypan 05-06-2013 04:28 PM

I actually bought the boat as an inboard.
Dont know too much about wellcrafts, but to my surprise I cant find much on them being inboards

I didn't even know a true inboard was an option on these boats. You seem to have a rare boat.

frypan 05-06-2013 05:31 PM

I know the previous owner put it in. thats just about it. I dont know much about this boat at all lol

bradford 05-11-2013 05:08 PM

I remember seeing one in the history gallery brochures that came as a factory inboard with a tunnel hull. Had the rudder mounted on the transom.

Welcome frypan and congrats on owning a rare version of a V20.
