Uhhh i just updated my bottom paint stripping thread in repairs.

A transatlantic crossing in a V20 is #1 on my bucket list. If I ever get a diesel in the V I'd give it a try. I've run the numbers on fuel consumption and think it's possible. New Hampshire -> Nova Scotia -> Newfoundland -> Labrador -> Greenland -> Iceland -> UK. On the way back I'd bag a swordfish on the Flemish Cap, which is #2 on my bucket list.

On the back of my buddies 26 Regulator in July. He just repowered with twin 300 Yammies.

I'd happily cross the Atlantic with those three. Would not even care if we ran out of fuel as long as we have plenty of food and beverage. HA! :nice:

Not trying to change the subject. Drag you have got to come down and fish this cobia bite with us!!!! My brother fished today and caught 15 and kept 2. He sight casted 30 fish today and caught 15. Went to one bouy and there it was holding 6 fish. I'm off Friday,Saturday,and sundays. Come anytime. Blue this invite is for you also.

Well subject is crossing the ocean in a V, so all bets are off!! I heard the bite was on but thats crazy on! This weekend is booked....leaving this Fri for a wedding in DC:cry:.....Hope the bite stays hot but they are on the move! I'm gonna duct tape a oar on the motor cover of the evinrude and make her a tiller steer. I'm not even gonna put the console in because it will be room for more chicks!!! Come on drag are ya in or out? Lol!!!!

I'll take the rest of them AND your V since you won't be needing it since you'll be in England with your new regulator.

My buddy who has the Regulator, owns a boat dealership. He just traded in a sweet little Wellcraft 18 Sport with a 150 FI Mariner. He has $1500 in it. Went and looked at it yesterday. Floors 100% solid. Transom looks like someone did a half assed nida-core job. Its ok, but will need work in a couple years. Thank God he is keeping it for himself for a winter project....I dont need to pull home another project! I'm still working on my sons V20!

Kracker, that's sweet on the cobes. I'd love to come but I just dropped $500 taking my boat to SC for labor day weekend. That doesn't count what the wife spent. LOL Went out 30 miles in the V 2 days and caught some BSB, did not see any cobia....they must all be up your way. I'll get up there one of these days.

His boat is NICE!! Awesome electronics package and a crazy stereo! He repowers every year and sells the motors as demonstrators. Last year he went with twin 250s, this year stepped up to 300s... tops out at 67 mph!!

I want him to go 350s, but thats to much of a jump in weight. A brand new set of 300s will be hung over the winter....this set is already sold.

The Wrightsville Beach trip was for another buddies bachelor party. We left the York River on Thurs and took the boat outside to Oregon Inlet, then inside to Wrightsville. Towed home on Sunday. WHAT A TRIP!!

I gotta say, I am more in love withmy little V than I have ever been with any other boat....close second was my inboard Mako

Does the Gulf count as an ocean? If not I will have add that to the list of things to do. That Regulator is a sweet boat. :beer:

Did yall see the story of that Regulator that was lost off New England somewhere and was found in Europe?

Yea I heard about that boat. That's unreal!!!! If I saw it floating out there I would bail all the dolphin out from under it then tow it home.

I will be 35 years old next Tuesday so im still a kid at heart also.
